| Under the background of current curriculum reform,high school biology education has entered a new era of "core accomplishment".Biology Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition,2020 revision)definitely put forward the basic concept of "core literacy as the purpose",and the primary task of biology teachers is to develop students’ core literacy in biology.Experimental teaching of biology is an essential part of biology instruction and an effective way to help students improve their core biological achievement.However,in practical teaching,the teaching effect is not ideal due to factors such as experimental methods and teaching ideas.Optimization of experimental methods and design of experimental teaching based on core literacy are of particular importance.In this paper,guided by the Curriculum Standards of Biology for General High School(2017Edition,2020 revision),multiple research methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey and action research are adopted to conduct teaching design and practical research on the experiments in the current version of the compulsory high school Biology 1 Molecule and Cell of the People’s Education Society based on the core literacy of biology.Using a questionnaire survey,we understand the needs of current high school students for biological experiments and the problems that exist in the teaching process of experiments.On the basis of studying the textbook and combining with the actual situation of Inner Mongolia,the localization exploration of the experimental materials and methods in the part of "Molecules and Cells" is carried out.Local available materials were used in place of those suggested in the textbook,and part of the demonstration experiment was changed into an experiment that students could operate,thereby improving the feasibility of the experiment.In order to address the existing problems of experimental teaching in high school biology and to improve the experimental teaching ability of teachers,design ideas for experimental teaching in high school biology have been studied based on a review and analysis of a large body of related literature and based on core literacy requirements.Three aspects are discussed in detail: the establishment of experimental teaching objectives,the design of the experimental teaching process,and the design of experimental teaching evaluation.In addition,three experiments of "Observation of several cells with high-power microscope","detection of sugars,fats and proteins in biological tissues" and "extraction and separation of pigments in green leaves" were taken as examples to carry out the teaching design and practical feasibility verification,and achieved excellent results.The results of this study suggest that experimental success rates can be improved through the localization of textbook experiments,which could be useful for the implementation of experimental teaching in biology.The design of experimental teaching in biology should be guided by the core achievements of biology,with an emphasis on teaching methods and evaluation,as well as experimental operations.Experimental teaching in biology can be effective in increasing students’ interest in learning and improving their scientific inquiry.?... |
