| With the development of technology and innovation in society,the country needs more comprehensive and innovative talents,and as a result,the requirements for education in each country are changing,and more and more attention is being paid to the optimization of educational concepts.STEAM education is an educational concept that aims to help students acquire interdisciplinary problem-solving skills and literacy in the process of learning science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics.In the discovery and application of various educational models,STEAM education has begun to be integrated into the instructional design of various disciplines.In the case of high school mathematics teaching,there are still few examples that reflect the STEAM education concept,especially in the specific and major mathematics teaching sessions.Therefore,in response to the needs of China’s educational reform and the requirements of the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition),exploring and increasing the number of high school mathematics teaching design cases that incorporate STEAM education concepts can help provide front-line teachers of high school mathematics with theoretical and practical pedagogical references and further enhance students’ STEAM education literacy.This study was conducted mainly in the following aspects.(1)reading and sorting out STEAM education and related theories on education and teaching through literature research method.Analyzing the teaching strategies and the current status of research on the content of teaching conic curve equations in high school and defining the related concepts.(2)Using the textual analysis method,analyze the high school mathematics curriculum standards,equations of conic curves in high school and STEAM education concept to explore the necessity and feasibility of integrating STEAM education concept in the teaching design of the equation of conic curves.(3)Taking STEAM education concept and general high school mathematics teaching design principles and models as theoretical guidelines,the Combining the specific teaching contents of conic curve equations,exploring and designing the STEAM teaching design model of conic curve equations and giving the teaching design of ellipse and its standard equation,three conclusions are drawn as follows.(1)It is necessary and feasible to integrate STEAM education concept in the teaching design of conic curve equations.High school mathematics teachers should actively and appropriately design teaching programs that integrate STEAM education concept and carry out specific teaching for teaching contents in the textbooks that are suitable for integrating STEAM education concept.(2)A new instructional design process is provided for the teaching content of conic curve equations in high school and a referenceable instructional design case is designed.(3)The teaching design of high school conic curve equations with STEAM education concept helps to enrich and concretize the abstract and obscure mathematical contents,helps to stimulate students’ interest in learning mathematics,and continuously improves students’ STEAM education literacy in the concrete teaching process. |
