| The society’s demand for comprehensive talents has increased,and it is imperative to change the education model.Interdisciplinary theme teaching is the path to cultivate comprehensive talents.The Geography Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)proposes interdisciplinary subject learning and requires that its lesson capacity be no less than 10% of the total class hours of this course.What is the current status of teaching geography interdisciplinary themes in junior high schools? How to find interdisciplinary topics? How to design interdisciplinary teaching cases? This paper explores the case design and implementation scheme of interdisciplinary themes in geography in junior high schools,in order to share the pressure of interdisciplinary theme teaching design for front-line geography teachers,and promote the practice of interdisciplinary theme teaching in geography teaching in junior high schools.The research mainly adopts three research methods: questionnaire survey method,case method and interview method,to investigate the current situation of teaching the interdisciplinary theme of geography in junior high school,and analyze the cognition,practice status,willingness to participate and existing difficulties of teachers and students in the current interdisciplinary teaching of geography in junior high school.This paper proposes strategies for determining interdisciplinary themes in geography in junior high schools,and constructs a general process for determining interdisciplinary themes.Design and practice the teaching case of geography interdisciplinary theme in junior high school,observe students’ behavior in the process of experimental teaching and analyze the educational effect;Explore the design and implementation of junior high school geography interdisciplinary theme teaching cases.The results of the study show that:(1)teachers and students have a positive attitude towards the teaching of geography interdisciplinary topics.Teachers and students have a high degree of recognition and willingness to participate in interdisciplinary theme teaching.(2)There are still difficulties in the teaching practice of geography interdisciplinary themes in junior high schools,such as "difficulty in determining themes,few curriculum resources,and tight teaching time".(3)Geography teachers do not pay enough attention to the teaching practice of interdisciplinary themes,lack understanding of interdisciplinary theme teaching,and have insufficient understanding of the meaning and value of interdisciplinary theme teaching.(4)It is very necessary to carry out the teaching practice of interdisciplinary themes of geography in junior high school,which is the requirement of the curriculum standard and the actual demand of geography teaching in junior high school.The study believes that,in order to avoid the arbitrariness of theme searching,the following aspects should be paid attention to when determining the interdisciplinary theme of geography in junior high school:first,the curriculum standards of different disciplines should be closely integrated,the differences and correlations of disciplines should be considered,and the convergence points between disciplines should be explored in depth;The second is to make full use of the textbooks of various disciplines,analyze the distribution of subject knowledge,and find the correlation points of knowledge between different disciplines;The third is to accumulate materials in the daily life of teachers and students,social hot spots and national events,and find interdisciplinary issues with teaching value and practical significance.The design of teaching cases should follow the following process of "according to the principles of course standards and teaching materials,the principle of authenticity of problem sources,the principle of teaching according to aptitude and place,and the principle of serving the disciplines crossed" :(1)find teaching content and resources on geographical interdisciplinary topics;(2)identify the core tasks of the interdisciplinary theme of geography:(3)develop pedagogical objectives for specific interdisciplinary themes;(4)design learning activities on interdisciplinary themes in geography;(5)Design the evaluation of the learning effect of geography interdisciplinary themes. |
