As a bad life experience, childhood psychological abuse will not only cause direct harm to children at the present, but also affect their growth and development, personality formation, interpersonal relationship and social adaptation in the growth process.Among them, including the generation of bad behavior, such as self-harm and harm others. However, through the literature review,it is found that there is still a lack of research on the generation mechanism of these two negative behavior outcomes, and there is a lack of a comprehensive theoretical perspective to examine these two effects at the same time. For college students, cyberbullying is more common than traditional bullying,so this study further focuses on cyberbullying and discusses the influencing factors and mechanisms of childhood psychological abuse on self-harm and cyberbullying from an integrated theoretical perspective. In this study, based on the two core variables of interpersonal relationships theory,we constructed a mediation model to consider the mediation role of thwarted belongingness and perceived burdensomeness in the influence of psychological abuse on self-harm and cyberbullying behavior. The study used cluster sampling and convenient sampling method, using Childhood Trauma Questionnaire,Interpersonal Needs Questionnaire,Deliberate Self-harm Scale,Cyberbullying Offending Scale, selected students from more than 30 universities in eastern, central and western China for online anonymous questionnaire survey,and1136 valid questionnaires were collected(M =22 years old).Among them,44 percent were male and 56 percent were female. Finally, the data were analyzed using SPSS21.0 and AMOS23.0 with the following results:(1)In the test of differences in demographic variables of each variable, there were significant differences in whether psychological abuse is a single-parent family, thwarted belongingness in gender and household registration, perceived burdensomeness and self-injury in undergraduate and graduate students, and cyberbullying in gender;(2)Psychological abuse, thwarted belongingness, burden perception,self-harm and cyberbullying are all positively correlated;(3)Psychological abuse can directly predict self-harm and cyberbullying;(4)Burden perception plays a mediating effect between psychological abuse and self-harm and cyberbullying, the former is a partial mediation effect, and the latter is a full mediation effect.(5)Thwarted belongingness has no mediating effect in the association between psychological abuse and self-harm and cyberbullying. Conclusion: Psychological abuse not only has a direct impact on the self-injury and cyberbullying behavior of college students, but also has an indirect impact through the mediation effect of perceived burdensomeness. This study is not only beneficial to understand the relationship, but also helps to guide the social work practice to carry out the prevention and remedial work for the injury behavior, which is of great significance to the college students’ physical and mental health development.
