The recent reappearance of psychological-harm on pupils in urban and rural areas has brought out more and more conflicts. This not only upsets parents, but also puts great pressure on education authorities, schools and teachers, making them feel puzzled and confused. Thus, a study on the psychological-harm in schools can draw the attention of education authorities, school leaders and teachers to the problem. Meanwhile, it can let the pupils get a certain knowledge about psychological-harm so that they can obtain an ability of judging and then avoid being victims of psychological-harm in schools.This study, taking pupils in three primary schools in Kangle, Gansu province as its objects of research, after a survey of psychological-harm happening in their schools and their daily lives, provides some useful suggestion to deal with the problem. The methods used in this thesis during research are nature-find study, on-spot investigation, questionnaires, deep-talking, analyzing examples and so on. After referring to relative books and using questionnaires, I first got a deep understanding of the psychological-harm in these poverty areas, and in the same time, analyzing the teachers role in this phenomenon. Then, I made out the reasons which lead to the problem and made sure whether the teachers had helped to improve the pupils' psychological and mental health or not. Finally, basing on the statistics, data and facts gathered, I put forward some suggestions and proposals.After the investigation of pupils in the above three schools, I found that psychological-harm on pupils is common in poverty areas. These psychological-harm incidents in schools have a negative influence on school's reputation. What's more, they also cause unrecoverable harm to pupils. Because they often appear in a way which is uneasy to be noticed, psychological-harm often brings about deep influence, which can't be seen in a short time. Following are the reasons for psychological-harm: first, high pressure in teaching and study; second, improper educational forms; third, excessive socialization in education; fourth, the misdoing and psychological unsound of teachers. Psychological-harm has three characters: firstly, serious consequences; secondly, complexity of its causes; thirdly, Potential in occurring and delay in showing out its influence; fourthly, using special to deal with it. This study, through the analyzing the forms of teacher punishment, the browbeating in schools, the rules and principals of school and the morale of schools, provides the following suggestions: First, teachers should improve their knowledge and moral sense, becoming respected and beloved ones; Second, schools should enhance their culture atmosphere, turning out itself to be growing cradles of students; Third, parents should communicate with then-children actively, so as to find out the problem and solve them in time.
