Objective : Athletes ’ visuospatial working memory capacity is closely related to the decision-making behavior of athletes in the competition.Therefore,this paper uses the visuospatial working memory capacity in cognitive psychology to explore the correct rate and reaction time of tennis players ’ defensive prediction under cognitive decision-making,so as to obtain the factors that affect the correct rate and reaction time of tennis players in the face of passive defense,which can provide reference for the research in the field of motion perception decision-making,and enrich the cognitive theoretical basis of tennis players ’ tactical decision-making.Methods : 30 tennis players from a university in Sichuan Province were selected as the research objects,and the defensive anticipation of tennis players was studied by experimental method.In the first experiment,through the experiment of spatial working memory capacity on the defensive prediction of tennis players,a mixed experiment of 3(prediction difficulty)× 2(prediction accuracy plus prediction reaction time)was used to study whether the prediction ability of tennis players was affected by spatial working memory capacity.Experiment 2 : Object working memory capacity on tennis players ’ defensive anticipation experiment.A mixed experiment of 3(anticipation difficulty)× 2(anticipation accuracy plus anticipation reaction time)was used to study whether the anticipation ability of tennis players was affected by object working memory capacity.Experiment 3 looked at the influence of spatial working memory capacity on tennis players ’ defensive anticipation.A mixed experiment of 3(anticipation difficulty)× 2(anticipation accuracy plus anticipation reaction time)was used to study whether tennis players ’ defensive anticipation ability was affected by visual spatial working memory capacity.Conclusion : Athletes ’ defensive anticipation is affected by the two functional sub-components of visuospatial working memory capacity and visuospatial working memory.The higher the spatial,object and visuospatial working memory capacity,the higher the accuracy of athletes ’ defensive anticipation.The lower the spatial,object and visuospatial working memory capacity of athletes,the faster the anticipation reaction time in the anticipation process.The visual spatial working memory capacity is related to the visual search information capacity obtained by the defensive anticipation athletes in the anticipation reaction time.The higher the memory capacity,the higher the visual search and selection attention,so that the high capacity group is higher than the low capacity group.
