Mathematics carries ideas and culture and is an important part of human civilization.The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)emphasizes the importance of teaching mathematical ideas.As a powerful tool for classroom teaching,the combination of numbers and shapes can realize the mutual conversion of numbers and shapes,visualize abstract content and simplify complex problems,so as to optimize the problem-solving strategy and achieve the purpose of solving problems.At the same time,with the content of the "Number and Algebra" module in primary school as the carrier,grasp the combination of number and shape combination ideas and numbers and algebra,help students effectively solve difficult points,gradually understand the magic of number and shape combination ideas,and cultivate students’ mathematical thinking ability.Based on this,this research focuses on the application of the idea of number shape combination in the teaching of "number and algebra" in primary mathematics.Combined with the literature research method,the theoretical basis of the teaching of number shape combined thought was determined,and the problem of number shape combination thought in the teaching of number and algebra was understood with the help of questionnaire survey method and interview method,the reasons were analyzed,and feasible strategies were tried to be proposed,so as to provide new ideas and directions for the teaching of primary school mathematics and algebra.This study mainly includes the following aspects:The first part is mainly through the combing of literature,expounding the reasons for topic selection,research significance,definition of core concepts,research review and theoretical basis,so as to clarify research ideas and methods.The second part mainly expounds the application theory of number shape combination ideas in the teaching of numbers and algebra,including applied forms and application principles.Applications include forming numbers and solving shapes with numbers.At the same time,the principles of correspondence,intuitiveness and abstraction should be followed.In addition,the necessity of "number algebra" teaching based on the idea of number shape combination is proposed,and the value of number combination idea in the teaching of number algebra in primary school is clarified,so as to further illustrate the feasibility of research.The third part uses the questionnaire survey method and interview method to analyze the application status of the idea of number shape combination in the teaching of number and algebra from three dimensions: teachers’ understanding,recognition and application of the idea of number shape combination.The fourth part,based on the analysis of questionnaire survey and interview results,finds that there are the following problems in the teaching of numbers and algebra in primary school mathematics and algebra:(1)teachers’ understanding of the idea of combining numbers and shapes is not in place;(2)Teachers’ requirements for combining numbers and shapes are not clear enough;(3)The teacher’s ability to apply the idea of combining numbers and shapes is not strong.The analysis of the causes of existing problems mainly includes the following aspects:(1)The teacher’s idea of logarithmic combination has not been formed Comprehensive understanding;(2)the teaching content of logarithmic and algebra by teachers lacks reconstruction;(3)Teachers lack method guidance for the use of the idea of combining numbers and shapes.The fifth part mainly discusses and analyzes the problems and causes of the idea of combining numbers and shapes in the teaching of "numbers and algebra",and puts forward the application strategies of "number and algebra" based on the idea of combination of numbers and shapes:(1)strengthen theoretical learning and improve teachers’ understanding of the idea of combining numbers and shapes;(2)Guided by the idea of combining numbers and shapes,reconstruct the teaching content of numbers and algebra;(3)Based on the combination of numbers and shapes,optimize the teaching environment and teaching methods.The sixth part is to select the teaching content of the four themes of number understanding,number operation,problem solving and exploration of laws in the field of numbers and algebra,and carry out the penetration analysis of relevant teaching cases,so as to maximize the effective application of the idea of combining numbers and shapes,and provide certain guidance and help for front-line teachers.
