Research On The Issue Of College Students’ Sophisticated Egoism From The Perspective Of Marxism Criticism

As a social label reflecting college students’ secularism,"Sophisticated egoists" has been discussed since Professor Qian Liqun of Peking University proposed it.Sophisticated egoism is a negative reflection of contemporary college students’ values,which is not an instinctive organism,but a reflection of market economy.College students are the active subjects to lead the people out of secularism,not the practitioners of secularism.Reflecting on the formation of sophisticated egoists among college students and clarifying the nature of college students in the new era are of great significance for college students to sublate sophisticated egoism and define their own mission and responsibilities.This paper attempts to use the critical perspective of Marxism to criticize the sophisticated egoists among college students,clarifies that the sophisticated egoism is the modern reflection of the old social value relationship in the past,reveals the essence of contemporary college students,and makes college students clear their historical mission as the new generation of the times.The first chapter of this paper mainly discusses the connotation and performance of the sophisticated egoists,explains the essence,psychological characteristics,behavioral characteristics and performance of the sophisticated egoists,and shows the uniqueness of the sophisticated egoists among college students different from the previous egoists.According to Marx’s criticism in German Ideology to Stirner’s the Ego and its Own,which once influenced the false ideology of Germany,the second chapter combs the connotation and context of "Egoist of self consistency",in order to provides a basis for criticizing sophisticated egoists among college students from the perspective of Marxism.From the second chapter,we can learn that "Egoists of self consistency" shows value nihilism,anarchism and hedonism.The third chapter criticizes the sophisticated egoists among college students using "realistic individual","true community","creative labor" and "independent activity" these four aspects from the critical perspective of Marxism,overcomes the nihilism of college students’ subjective value,atomic individual and hedonistic negative mental state,and further concludes the positive mental outlook of college students’ ideals,national citizens and labor creators.The fourth chapter points out the possibility and reality of the sublation of sophisticated egoism according to the stage of its existence.With the joint efforts of society and individuals,college students can sublate sophisticated egoism,clarify their nature as new people of the times,and shoulder the heavy responsibility of national rejuvenation.
