| With the development of science and technology,the demand for talents in society has not stopped at the large reserve of knowledge.How to cultivate a well-rounded and sustainable person and lay the foundation for students’ future is the problem and current situation facing the education sector today.Among them,the cultivation of scientific thinking has attracted the attention of teachers and the entire educational community.In biology,the 2017 edition of the General High School Biology Curriculum Standards clarifies the important role of scientific thinking,that is,scientific thinking is a key thinking ability for students to correctly understand and deal with scientific phenomena and practical problems.It is an important part of the core literacy of biology,and it is essential to cultivate students’ scientific thinking.As a tool to assist teaching,teaching materials are of great help to cultivate students’ scientific thinking.The introduction of the new textbook has reintegrated various auxiliary columns,among which the "Thinking and Discussion" column is closely integrated with the core literacy of biology,which is a solid embodiment of scientific thinking and a very important teaching resource for cultivating students’ scientific thinking.Therefore,this research will analyze the "Thinking and Discussion" column based on scientific thinking.Explore how to make the most of the "Think & Discuss" section to cultivate students’ scientific thinking.First,the literature research method is used to read and analyze the literature related to the research,and the research status of analytical scientific thinking and the "Thinking and Discussion" column is organized.Secondly,relevant questionnaire surveys were conducted among biology teachers and students of practice schools in Shihezi High School to investigate the current situation of the use of this column in actual teaching.The survey results show that teachers believe that this column is conducive to the cultivation of students’ scientific thinking,and most teachers do not adopt a variety of teaching methods to teach.Students are still relatively familiar with this column and can solve most of the problems in the column independently,but some of the more difficult problems still need the guidance of teachers.Then,the content types and quantities of the main auxiliary columns of the compulsory textbooks of the People’s Education Edition,the distribution,characteristics and functions of the "Thinking and Discussion" column were sorted out and analyzed,and the scientific thinking methods embodied in the "Thinking and Discussion" column were further sorted out in combination with the curriculum standards.Finally,using the teaching experiment method,the content of compulsory chapters 3 to 6 is selected for teaching design,and the designed teaching cases are applied to teaching practice.Through the pre-and post-test of scientific thinking and the teacher-student interview,the teaching practice was evaluated in a diversified manner,and the practical conclusions of classroom teaching were obtained.The practical results show that the teaching strategies and teaching designs proposed in the column of "Thinking and Discussion" have a positive role in promoting students’ scientific thinking. |
