| With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology,the society has also produced higher requirements for residents and talents,and computational thinking has become an essential basic ability of modern people.The Curriculum Standard of Information Technology for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)also regards the training of computational thinking as an important content of education under the background of informatization.It can be seen that the training of computational thinking is imminent.Theme-based teaching is a popular teaching mode at present.Many scholars prove that theme-based teaching is an effective way to cultivate computational thinking through practice.Therefore,this study attempts to construct a theme-based teaching framework of information technology in junior middle school oriented to computational thinking in the subject field of junior middle school information technology,and verifies the effectiveness of the framework through practice,so as to provide case reference and teaching suggestions for the training of learners’ computational thinking in theme-based teaching.This study firstly uses the literature research method to sort out the research status of computational thinking,theme-based teaching and the cultivation of computational thinking by theme-based teaching,and makes clear the definition of computational thinking and theme-based teaching activities,the evaluation and application of computational thinking,and the application of theme-based teaching.Secondly,it makes comprehensive use of the literature research method to define the principles of designing themed teaching activities of information technology in junior middle school oriented to computational thinking.It conducts front-end analysis on learners through classroom observation method and questionnaire survey method,and sorts out the teaching objectives and contents of the module of "Artificial intelligence and intelligent society" in the New Curriculum Standard.Then,it constructs a theme-based teaching activity framework of information technology in junior middle school oriented to computational thinking,which includes three stages: preparation,action and reflection.The action stage aims at providing pre-class resources for teachers to make learners have good psychological expectations of learning.The action stage aims to teach with theme-task-problem clues,and guide students to understand knowledge in the reverse direction of the main line of problem-task-topic.The reflection stage aims to guide students to iterate and optimize their works and develop their assessment thinking through teacher comments,inter-group mutual assessment and intra-group self-assessment.Then,relying on the content of "Artificial Intelligence and intelligent society" module,the theme of "AI in clothing,food,housing and transportation" is designed,with four sub-themes,each of which sets tasks and problems with increasing difficulty,to ensure the smooth teaching.Then,through the analysis of the evaluation principles in the New Curriculum Standard,the evaluation principles of the theme-based teaching activities of information technology in junior middle school oriented to computational thinking are determined.The evaluation runs through the whole process in the three links of diagnostic,formative and summative evaluation.Finally,relevant data were sorted out and analyzed,and the teaching effects were analyzed with the help of Bebras test questions and computational thinking scale,so as to measure computational thinking.It is found that the theme-based teaching framework of information technology in junior middle school oriented to computational thinking constructed in this study is an effective way to improve learners’ computational thinking.After the information technology themed teaching activities oriented to computational thinking in junior middle school,the overall computational thinking of learners has made obvious progress,which is mainly manifested as that learners have the emotional tendency to use computational thinking and prefer cooperative learning,and the improvement of assessment thinking,abstract thinking and decomposition thinking is relatively obvious.However,there is still much room for improvement in algorithmic thinking and general thinking.In the theme-based teaching of information technology in junior middle school oriented to computational thinking,the life-oriented and interest-based theme is the key to improve learners’ learning efficiency.In view of the above conclusions and problems,this study puts forward some reasonable improvement suggestions from three aspects: emphasizing the use of flow chart,optimizing the evaluation method and flexible design teaching. |
