| In the intelligence education environment,it is inevitable to upgrade the knowledge structure of teachers.However,at present,a number of investigations show that students for teacher education,who are reserve forces of teachers,have failed to achieve the desired results in their ability training to carry out deep teaching and learning activities by using emerging artificial intelligence technologies,there are still some problems,such as the lack of theoretical knowledge of artificial intelligence and the difficulty in the integration of theory and teaching practice.How to improve the ability of students for teacher education to apply new artificial intelligence technology to education and teaching in time and how to update their knowledge structure are key issues that need to be solved in the process of teacher education research and building teachers’ team in China.The current situation of students for teacher education’s knowledge of AI technologies,the factors that affect their AI-TPACK structure,the relationship among the factors,and how to improve the AI-TPACK ability are all important for the development of teachers.Therefore,in order to effectively solve the above problems,this study explores the factors that affect students’ AI-TPACK and the relationships among them in the context of intelligence education,with a view to effectively improving students’ AI-TPACK and AI competency,and providing enlightenment and suggestions for their future professional development.This study uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,such as literature research,survey research,structural equation modeling analysis and interview method,to explore the current situation of AI-TPACK ability structure for students for teacher education and clarify the specific influence relationships between external influencing factors such as school technical support,students’ attitudes and abilities to apply AI technology and various factors of teacher-training students’ AI-TPACK ability structure.Firstly,the literature research method was used to sort out and analyze the published studies,clarify,the related concepts and contents,summerize the development process of TPACK research at home and abroad,grasp the connotation and core content of AI-TPACK,clarify the main factors affecting student’ AI-TPACK ability structure under the background of intelligence education,preliminarily construct the research model and put forward the research hypothesis.Secondly,the survey research method and interview method were used to have the questionnaire survey and interview for students for teacher education of grade three or above,using the adapted AI-TPACK questionnaire as the research tool.Finally,the data collected were analyzed by using structural equation modelling analysis and software such as AMOS and SPSS to explore the relationship between the current situation of AI-TPACK ability structure of students and its influencing factors,to revise the research model and verify the research hypothesis.The following conclusions are drawn.(1)Students’ overall AI-TPACK level is above the average,and the seven kinds of knowledge contained in AI-TPACK are all at a high level.(2)Grade,school level and teaching experience have significant influence on AI-TPACK ability structure of students for teacher education.(3)School technical support has a significant impact on students’ single knowledge ability(AI-TK and PK),compound knowledge ability(AI-TPK)and AI-TPACK.Teacher-training students’ attitude towards applying artificial intelligence technology has a significant impact on their single knowledge ability(AI-TK,CK,PK),compound knowledge ability(PCK and AI-TPK)and AI-TPACK.The ability of students to apply artificial intelligence technology has a significant impact on their compound knowledge ability(AI-TCK and AI-TPK)and AI-TPACK ability.(4)Students’ AI-TK has a significant direct influence on their AI-TCK and AI-TPK;CK has a significant direct effect on PCK and AI-TCK;PK has a significant direct impact on its PCK;AI-TK,CK,AI-TCK and AI-TPK of students for teacher education have significant direct influence on their AI-TPACK ability.Based on the above findings,some suggestions are put forward to improve student’ AI-TPACK ability:(1)Actively create an artificial intelligence technology environment to improve students’ knowledge level of artificial intelligence technology;(2)Optimize the construction of curriculum system for students for teacher education and strengthen the study of compound knowledge system for students;(3)Establish a cross-grade learning community to promote the development of AI-TPACK ability of students for teacher education;(4)Strengthen the educational practice experience of students for teacher education and build a solid AI-TPACK ability. |
