Objective: Basketball,as a competitive sport against the same court, many technical movements depend on the athletes’ strong lower extremity strength and explosive power.Compound training is a proven method for developing both muscle strength and explosive power. At present, the resistance part of compound training mainly focuses on constant resistance training.Due to the existence of human "joint Angle effect",muscles cannot maintain the best state in the whole training process, thus affecting the training effect.Variable resistance training can make the load change with the change of joint Angle, and match the joint force line and exercise intensity curve of human body,so as to keep the muscle in the best condition during the whole training process, and better induce the enhancement effect after activation(PAP),further improving the effect of over-equal length training. At present, there are few literature reports on the combination of variable resistance training and compound training.Through 8-week variable resistance compound training and constant resistance compound training, this study analyzed and discussed the effects of the two training methods on the lower extremity explosive power of basketball players, providing reference for basketball coaches and athletes in the future training. Methods: Twenty special basketball players of Grade 2021 of Shanghai University of Sport were selected as experimental subjects, randomly divided into experimental group(10 persons)and control group(10 persons),who underwent variable resistance compound training and constant resistance compound training twice a week, respectively.Acquisition biggest squat,CMJ tests respectively before and after the experiment, standing long jump, the isokinetic muscle testing data and use SPSS23.0processing,test data, the results are in average±standard deviation((?)±SD)shows.Independent sample T test was used to analyze the difference between the two groups. After the experiment, repeated measurement variance was used to analyze the difference between the two groups before and after the experiment, and independent sample T test was conducted to analyze the difference between the two groups before and after the experiment, and further analyze the difference from the perspective of growth rate.P<0.05 indicates a significant difference,P<0.01 indicates a significant difference.Results:(1)The maximum squat test has an interaction between time and group(P<0.05).Following the intervention trial, both groups’ scores significantly increased(P<0.01),and the experimental group’s growth rate greatly outpaced that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)CMJ test has an interaction between time and group(P<0.05).Following the intervention trial, both groups’ scores significantly increased(P<0.01),and the experimental group’s growth rate greatly outpaced that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)There was no interaction between time and group in the standing long jump test(P<0.05).Following the intervention trial, both groups’ scores significantly increased(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in growth rates between the experimental and control groups.(4)The peak moment of 60°/s extensor muscle,60°/s extensor muscle power,120°/s extensor muscle peak moment and120°/s extensor muscle power of the left and right knee joints with isotonic muscle force had an interaction time with the groups(P<0.05).Following the intervention trial, both groups’ scores significantly increased(P<0.01),and the experimental group’s growth rate greatly outpaced that of the control group(P<0.05).(5)There was no time interaction between the two groups.Following the intervention trial, both groups’ scores significantly increased(P<0.01),and the growth rates of the experimental group and the control group did not differ significantly.Conclusions:(1)Both variable resistance compound training and constant resistance compound training have positive effects on the improvement of lower limb explosive power of basketball players.(2)Compared with constant resistance compound training, variable resistance compound training can more effectively improve the increase effect of maximum squat,CMJ test, constant velocity muscle strength 60°/s and 120°/s knee extensor peak moment and power.(3)There was no significant difference between variable resistance compound training and constant resistance training in the improvement amplitude of standing long jump and the peak moment and power of knee flexor muscle of 60°/s and 120°/s.(4)Using 25% variable resistance load for training can significantly improve athletes’ lower extremity strength and explosive power training effect.
