| In recent years,the mathematical modeling literacy has attracted more and more attention from educators and researchers.The new version of the teaching material also involves relevant content.How about the implementation of the content of the teaching material? What is the level of the mathematical modeling literacy of high school students? How to further improve the mathematical modeling literacy of students? In order to answer the above questions,this paper uses the experimental methods of test,questionnaire,data analysis,and interview to carry out the research on the senior high school students in Chenggong District.First,prepare the questionnaire and test paper and the scoring basis,and then prepare the interview outline of teachers and students.After the actual survey,the results will be sorted out and analyzed subsequently.Based on the six level division principle proposed by Lu Xiaoli and Xu Binyan,appropriate modifications are made to divide students’ mathematical modeling literacy into six levels.Combine mathematical culture with mathematical modeling literacy,use mathematical culture as material to prepare test questions to inspect students’ mathematical modeling literacy level,and also hope to cultivate students’ mathematical modeling literacy in the process of integrating mathematical culture into the classroom.The main contents of the study are as follows:(1)According to the questionnaire,analyze the overall mathematical modeling of students,and analyze the differences among students of different genders,different classes,and different subjects;(2)Compile test papers based on mathematical culture,and evaluate their mathematical modeling literacy level according to the results of the test papers;(3)According to the analysis of the overall and various dimensions of the questionnaire results and the analysis of the reasons for the errors in the test paper,the influencing factors of the mathematical modeling literacy of the senior high school students are obtained;(4)Considering the current situation of the mathematical modeling literacy of the senior one students in the university,this paper puts forward targeted teaching suggestions.Through collecting and sorting out the survey results and using SPSS22.0 for statistical analysis,the main conclusions are as follows: first,the mathematical modeling literacy of high school students has reached a medium level;second,the mathematical modeling literacy level of female students is significantly lower than that of male students;third,it is difficult to accurately conduct mathematical modeling due to the lack of solid basic knowledge;fourth,the lack of mathematical reading ability,computational ability and other deficiencies hinder the improvement of literacy,Fifth,the choice of situation has an important impact on students’ mathematical modeling.Through analyzing the survey results and influencing factors,targeted teaching suggestions are proposed to cultivate students’ mathematical modeling literacy,mainly including: grasping basic knowledge and building knowledge system;Improve basic skills and promote all-round development;Integrate mathematical culture and set up the problem situation reasonably;Process participation and result presentation are indispensable;Develop mathematical modeling textbooks;Actively carry out relevant mathematical modeling activities. |
