Mathematics core literacy is put forward in Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition).Mathematical modeling,as an important part of the six core literacy,has attracted wide attention from educational researchers at home and abroad.Therefore,it has become an important subject for researchers of mathematics education to carry out research and teaching of mathematical modeling in middle schools,popularize mathematical modeling methods,strengthen the connection between mathematical knowledge and practical life problems,cultivate thinking ability of modeling,and improve the overall level of modeling of middle school students.Through consulting a large number of relevant literature,this paper understands the latest understanding and understanding of mathematical modeling in the current mathematics and educational circles,and the beginning,development and perfection of mathematical modeling as a component of core literacy.Later,during the internship period,I conducted a questionnaire survey on the actual situation of mathematical modeling in the internship class,and surveyed the students' mathematical learning in the internship class.The actual situation of mathematical modeling,and teachers also conducted questionnaires and interviews to find out the difficulties encountered in the development of modern mathematical modeling teaching,and detailed analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey.Then,starting from the aspect of cultivating mathematical modeling literacy,according to the analysis of students' actual situation,this paper puts forward some methods to improve mathematical modeling literacy,adds teaching examples when putting forward methods,and makes concrete analysis in specific teaching,which has achieved good results and enriched the research of mathematical modeling literacy in teaching practice.Combining teaching practice to cultivate mathematical modeling literacy is a hot research perspective in recent years.Previous teaching research focused on the research of mathematical theory knowledge.Combining the methods of mathematicalmodeling with teaching practice can better reflect the innovation and development of mathematics in teaching methods.Therefore,there will be great research space in the future in the research of core literacy and teaching practice.It is worth popularizing and developing for educational researchers.
