With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum reform,examining the high school mathematics teaching from a high perspective has become a research hotspot in the field of education.In recent years,"high viewpoint" problems have frequently appeared in the national college entrance examination math test papers in various provinces.Therefore,this paper takes elementary functions as the starting point to explore how to optimize high school mathematics teaching using "high viewpoint".Elementary function is the basic concept of high school mathematics,and it is also the key test object of college entrance examination mathematics.The "high viewpoint" mathematical problems in the college entrance examination papers have caused learning difficulties for many students,which requires secondary school teachers to examine high school mathematics from a high point of view and improve students’ mathematical thinking abilities.This paper studies the teaching of functions in middle school from a high perspective.Firstly,it discusses the research background,significance,theoretical basis and current research status at home and abroad,fully explaining the necessity and importance of high school mathematics teaching research from a high perspective.At the same time,it expounds the development history of basic elementary functions,the teaching of elementary functions from the high perspectives at home and abroad,and the implementation of function teaching from a high perspective under the new curriculum reform.Secondly,it summarizes the specific expressions of function content in high school textbooks and university textbooks,and analyzes the penetration of high perspectives in elementary function teaching from three aspects: curriculum ideology,mathematical thinking methods and mathematical knowledge.Finally,based on the results of the questionnaire survey,a teaching design for the concept of the function from a high point of view was designed.At the same time,the college entrance examination questions in recent years were analyzed from the perspective of "high view".Aiming at the teaching problems of high school functions and how to optimize elementary function teaching using advanced mathematics,this paper puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions,hoping to help improve the current situation of "difficult to teach and difficult to learn" functions.
