Experimental Research On The Integration Of Ideological And Political Elements Into Swimming Course Teaching In Physical Education Colleges

Promoting curriculum ideological and political construction in an all-round way is a strategic measure to carry out the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and talents and an important task to comprehensively improve the quality of talent training.Swimming is a survival skill for human beings,and it is also one of the first choice sports in the Olympic Games.Sports colleges and universities all over the country have set up swimming courses.The characteristics of water fluidity,resistance,low water temperature and air temperature make beginner swimming more demanding in terms of ideological quality than other sports.This paper tries to carry out the teaching experiment of integrating ideological and political elements into the general course of swimming,and through the test of the reliability and validity of the prediction scale,it prepares the physical character scale of students in the general course of swimming,tests the effect of ideological and political teaching in the general course of swimming,and provides reference for sports colleges to improve the teaching quality of the general course of swimming.This study uses the methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,experiment and mathematical statistics to conduct an experimental study on the integration of ideological and political elements into the teaching of swimming courses in sports colleges and universities.A total of 84 college students from 4swimming classes of physical education major of Guangzhou University of Physical Education were selected as experimental subjects and randomly divided into control group and experimental group.In the control group,42 students,23 boys and 19 girls were enrolled.There were 42 people in the experimental group,22 boys and 20 girls.The control group adopted traditional general swimming course teaching,while the experimental group adopted ideological and political elements integrated into the general swimming course teaching of physical education colleges.The pre-test of the experiment was conducted using the compiled "Physical Character Scale for Students in General Swimming Course".After 12 weeks and 24 lessons of swimming teaching experiment,the compiled scale was used to conduct the post-test and test the swimming performance.Independent and paired samples were used to test the teaching experiment effect,and the following results were obtained.(1)After the experiment,the scores of nine ideological and political elements of the control group and the experimental group,such as tenacious struggle,transcending oneself,helping each other,abiding by rules,fairness and justice,selfless dedication,civility,teamwork and sense of responsibility,were all higher than before the experiment,and there was a very significant difference(P < 0.01),but the improvement of the experimental group students was greater.(2)After the experiment,the scores of seven ideological and political elements of the experimental group,such as transcending oneself,helping each other,abiding by rules,fairness and justice,selfless dedication,teamwork and sense of responsibility,were all higher than those of the control group,and there was a significant difference(P < 0.05).In terms of the ideological and political elements of tenacious struggle and civility,although the scores of the experimental group were slightly higher than those of the control group,But there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).(3)After the experiment,the scores of the experimental group in swimming were higher than those of the control group,and there were significant differences(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)The Physical Character scale of swimming students has good reliability and validity,with 9 dimensions and 36 questions.(2)In terms of physical morality,both the control group and the experimental group made progress,but the improvement of the experimental group was greater.(3)The seven ideological and political elements of transcending oneself,helping each other,abiding by rules,fairness and justice,selfless dedication,teamwork and sense of responsibility are integrated into the general swimming course with good results.The effect of indomitable struggle and polite ideological and political elements into the swimming course is not significant.(4)In the teaching experiment of general swimming courses with ideological and political elements,the swimming performance of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.
