A Case Study Of Satya Family Therapy Adjusting The Parent-child Relationship Of Juvenile Families Involved In Crime

Adolescent stage is a special stage in the course of life,facing tremendous changes in physiology,psychology,personality,social environment,etc.When faced with some temptations,they will lose their ability to distinguish right from wrong,and even embark on the path of illegal crime.As the first place for personal growth and development,the original family directly affects the smooth development of adolescents.Research has shown that poor parent-child relationships in native families are an important factor leading to juvenile delinquency.Attaching great importance to the improvement and adjustment of unhealthy parent-child relationships in adolescents’ native families is of great significance for helping adolescents grow and develop smoothly and socialize.This study is a collaborative project with the C District Procuratorate of Q City to select juvenile offenders L who meet the conditions of non prosecution as the case service object,under the guidance of the case work method,through field visits,participatory observation,unstructured interviews,literature review,and other methods,the author conducts in-depth understanding of the family background and living environment of the juvenile delinquent L,in order to learn about his growth experience and the reasons for his crime.The investigation found that the main reason for L involved in the crime was the absence of parents and the negative parent-child relationship.Therefore,the Satya family therapy model is used for intervention and targeted assistance and education plans are developed.First,the problems in the family are diagnosed by drawing the influence wheel diagram and the family structure diagram;Secondly,using family sculpture and family reshaping techniques to change the unhealthy communication style of L family and promote consistent communication within the family;Once again,in the follow-up service process,consolidate the family parent-child relationship,form a strict family upbringing method and a positive family support system;Finally,summarize and reflect on the practical process,and provide reasonable suggestions for the re socialization of juvenile offenders and the prevention of secondary crimes.In this practical process,we will explore how to effectively apply the Satya family therapy model to the family system in the local environment,provide effective assistance to the education of juvenile delinquents,help them grow healthily,and accumulate experience in local family therapy through practical experience to further enrich the strategic system for the application of this model in the field of juvenile delinquency.In addition,review and reflect on the entire intervention process,provide reasonable suggestions for juvenile judicial assistance and education,and fully leverage the value of judicial and social work itself.
