With the continuous acceleration of industrial upgrading and economic restructuring,the demand for skilled personnel in various industries is becoming increasingly urgent,and the important role of vocational education is becoming increasingly prominent.To improve the quality of training technical and skilled personnel,it is necessary to deepen the reform of vocational education and improve the quality of vocational education and teaching."Fundamentals of Management" is a compulsory course for accounting majors in secondary vocational schools,and plays a very important role in cultivating students’ comprehensive management ability.However,many problems in current teaching seriously hinder the improvement of the quality of management skilled personnel training.Role playing,as a new teaching method,can improve the negative impact of traditional teaching methods to some extent by guiding students to play other social roles in simulated and realistic situations to complete the construction of their own knowledge and enhance their abilities.This article applies the role-playing method to the teaching of the course "Fundamentals of Management" in order to improve the current teaching situation in secondary vocational schools and improve the teaching quality of the course.Firstly,starting from the current development background of vocational education and national demand policies,this article analyzes the current research situation of role playing at home and abroad,and explores the core concepts and theoretical basis of role playing.Secondly,through interviews and questionnaires,it is clear about the current situation of the teaching of the "Fundamentals of Management" course for the accounting major in X Secondary Vocational School.Based on the existing problems in the course teaching,it is proposed that the role-playing method be implemented in the "Fundamentals of Management" course.Then,under the guidance of constructivist learning theory and experiential learning theory,follow the principles of role-playing teaching design,and design the teaching process and evaluation system of role-playing in the course "Fundamentals of Management".Finally,two classes of 2022 accounting major in X Secondary Vocational School were selected for practical teaching,and the application effect of role playing in the teaching of "Fundamentals of Management" was tested through a survey of students’ curriculum performance evaluation,comprehensive ability evaluation,and teachers’ teaching experience.Research has shown that role-playing method effectively improves the teaching quality of the course "Fundamentals of Management" by constructing a student-centered classroom,and has significant effects in cultivating students’ subjective initiative,promoting teacher-student interaction,and improving teachers’ teaching and research abilities.It further proves that the introduction of role playing into the teaching of the course "Fundamentals of Management" in secondary vocational schools is effective and can make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods.In addition,this study also provides some reference for the practical research of role playing in secondary vocational schools.
