Objective:The kinematic and kinetic characteristics of a male college basketball player with left patellar tendinopathy were analyzed using a Qualisys 3D motion capture system and a Kistler force plate.Taking the emergency stop and take-off action in the basketball special action as the test action, the differences between basketball players with patellar tendinopathy and healthy athletes were explored from the perspective of biomechanics;Kinesio therapy was used as an intervention method to analyze the intramuscular Changes of biomechanical indexes in basketball players with patellar tendinopathy before and after the effect tape. The purpose of this study is to reveal the biomechanical characteristics of athletes with patellar tendinopathy during emergency stop and take-off movements and the mechanism of action of Kinesio Taping on lower limb biomechanics in patients with patellar tendinopathy.Method:Taking men’s basketball players of Henan University as the research object,20 athletes with patellar tendinopathy in the left leg were selected as the experimental group, and 20 athletes with healthy legs on both sides were selected as the control group. The Chinese version of the "VISA-P" scale and the "College Students Knee Joint Injury Questionnaire" were used to collect the basic information of the subjects. The kinematics data collection uses the Qualisys 3D motion capture system(200Hz),and the collection indicators are the hip joint, knee joint and ankle joint angle, angular range of motion and angular velocity.Kinetic data acquisition uses a Kistler force plate(1000Hz),and the acquisition indicators are three-axis ground reaction force, hip joint, knee joint and ankle joint torque and joint shear force. The raw data was imported into Visual3 D software for extraction and normalization, and the processed data was imported into SPSS for analysis. Results:Kinesio Taping before the injection: Compared with healthy people, patients with patellar tendinopathy had a significant increase in vertical ground reaction force(P<0.01)at the time of landing of the left leg,the peak vertical ground reaction force in the left leg extension stage(P<0.01),the peak hip flexion moment in the left leg cushioning stage(P<0.01),the horizontal backward shear force of the ankle joint at the time of landing of the left leg(P<0.05),and the adduction moment of the knee at the time of the left leg landing(P.0.05).<0.05)。 Kinematics: compared with healthy people, patients with patellar tendinopathy had hip abduction exercise at the largest flexion angle of the knee joint of the left leg, while healthy people did adduction exercise(P<0.01);At the same time, patients with patellar tendinopathy have a tendency to reduce the peak hip flexion angle in the extension stage, the ankle dorsiflexion angle at the time of landing, and the range of motion of the hip flexion angle in the buffer stage. In terms of Kinesio Taping: intramuscular patch can significantly reduce the horizontal backward ground reaction force(P<0.05)at the time of landing of the left leg in patellar tendon end-disease(P<0.05),the peak horizontal backward ground reaction force in the buffer stage(P<0.01),the adduction moment of the knee at the time of re-landing and the peak shear force at the knee level in the extension stage(P<0.05,P<0.05),and the intramuscular effect also has the tendency to reduce the peak of knee flexion moment in the buffer stage.Kinematics: the Kinesio Taping significantly reduced the peak of knee adduction angle in the buffer stage(P<0.05),and the intramuscular effect patch could change the hip joint from internal rotation to external rotation in the buffer stage of athletes with patellar tendinopathy(P<0.05),at the same time,Kinesio Taping has the tendency to increase the peak of knee flexion angle and angle peak in patients with patellar tendon terminal disease, the peak of hip flexion angle and angle in the buffer stage and the extension stage, the peak of ankle dorsiflexion angle in the buffer stage and the knee flexion angle velocity at the time of landing, and has the tendency to reduce the peak knee flexion angle in the buffer and pedal extension stage, the peak knee adduction angle in the buffer stage, the range of motion of hip internal rotation in the buffer stage and the knee flexion range in the pedaling and extension stage.Conclusions:(1)Biomechanical and kinematic characteristics of patients with patellar tendinopathy include:(1)compared with healthy individuals, patients with patellar tendinopathy have significantly increased peak vertical ground reaction force during the left leg push-off and increased peak hip flexor moment during the buffering phase,as well as significantly increased horizontal shear force at the ankle joint and horizontal ground reaction force during left leg landing. These increased indicators increase the total load on the lower limb joints, causing damage to the hip, knee, and ankle joints, ultimately leading to a decrease in joint stability and pain.(2)compared with healthy individuals, patellar tendinopathy patients exhibit hip abduction during the peak knee flexion, while healthy individuals exhibit hip adduction. This result shows that although hip extension may cause the quadriceps tendon to be in a prolonged stretched state,it is a compensation state for patellar tendinopathy patients to alleviate lower limb pain to reach the same competitive level as healthy individuals.(3)Compared with healthy individuals, patellar tendinopathy patients have effective trends in peak hip flexion angle during the push-off phase, ankle dorsiflexion angle during landing, and hip flexion angle during the buffering phase. These changes decrease the absorption of ground reaction force by the hip and ankle joints during landing, thereby increasing the load that the knee joint needs to absorb.Kinesio taping’s impact on patellar tendinopathy patients:(1)Kinesio taping can significantly reduce the peak horizontal ground reaction force and peak horizontal backward ground reaction force during left leg landing and buffering phases, thereby reducing the load of vertical and horizontal backward forces the knee joint endures.(2)Kinesio taping can significantly reduce the knee adduction moment during the left leg landing phase, thereby reducing the stress on the medial meniscus of the knee.(3)Kinesio taping can reduce peak knee flexion angle during the buffering and push-off phases and the peak knee adduction angle during the buffering phase, thereby protecting the knee joint by reducing the shear force and medial load on the knee joint.
