PURPOSE:Patellar tendinopathy(PT) is a common and significant syndrome encouterd in basketball and volleyball players. It always results in the accumulation of jumping actions,so it is also named jumper’s knee. Beacause it is a chronic injury and difficult to cure, athelets suffering this injury always still take part in training and competition activities. It is reported that players in some positions even jump more than 300 times in a whole basketball or volleyball match. A correct jumping movement can reduce the loading of patellar tendon and promote the rehabilition of PT. Above all, how to jump and land appropriatlly after the injury happening is a main element of PT’s rehabilitation, which this research matters.METHODS:Epidemiology was used in this research. As a cohort study, researchers chose 51 basketball players with PT in Beijing Sport University as the research objects. In the beginning of the study, the kinematic and kinetics data of stop-jumping and drop landing were collected.Based on this data, a follow-up was carried out till the next year. We diagnosed all the objects’ patellar tendon in the same way as first year. According to the condition of every players,we devided them into two groups (Still Injury Group, SIG and Rehablitation Group, RHG).Then we can explore the implicit bimechanics factors in jumping and landing movements that can promote the rehablition of PT.CONCLUSION:1)The control of hip joint should be taken more attention in the rehablitation of PT than knee joint. The increase of hip flexion in landing and jumping movements may be the critical factor of PT’s rebablitation. And an effctive warm-up and a feedback training can improve the function of hip joint.2) The RHG probably use a correct lower limbs kinetic chains. They reduce strain on patellar tendon through increasing the sigittal plane loading of hip joint and ankle joint in landing and jumping task.3)The person suffering PT may reduce the knee flexion to avoid the pain of patellar tendon in some movements, such as horizontal landing task.but it can lead to some other sport injuries of lower limbs. So the neuromuscular training should be added into daily practice of the people who have PT.
