| Cultivating students’ core competencies in physics is a key focus of middle school physics teaching,as well as the key to implementing the requirements of moral education.How to improve students’ core competencies in physics in middle school physics teaching,and form key abilities and essential qualities that can adapt to social development,is a new pursuit and direction of middle school physics teaching.Scientific reasoning and argumentation are both components of the core competencies of the physics discipline.The use of methods such as scientific reasoning and argumentation can effectively construct physical concepts and laws,thereby forming physical thinking.In the process of scientific exploration,scientific reasoning and argumentation are generally also used.Therefore,it is crucial to enhance students’ abilities in scientific reasoning and argumentation.This paper selects the key content of the second compulsory high school physics course as the research object,takes physics,educational psychology,pedagogy,psychology,physics textbook analysis theory,physics curriculum and teaching theory as the theoretical basis,and takes the General High School Physics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)as the basis.It compares and analyzes the scientific reasoning and argumentation factors contained in the key content of the six versions(People’s Education Press,Shandong Science Press,Shanghai Education Press,Shanghai Science and Technology Press,Education Science Press,Guangdong Education Press)of the compulsory second high school physics textbook,then combines the advantages of each version of the textbook to carry out innovative teaching optimization,and proposes textbook revision and teaching suggestions.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly elaborates on the background of this study,the purpose and significance of the selected research topic,the current research status in China,the definition of key concepts,research ideas,selected research methods,and the theoretical basis supporting the research;The second part is the key chapter of this article.Firstly,based on the "Content Requirements" section of the "Curriculum Content" in the "General High School Physics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)",the key content is selected to determine the research object of this article: work and power;Gravity potential energy;Kinetic energy and kinetic energy theorem;Analyze the motion of flat throwing using the ideas of synthesis and decomposition;Describe circular motion using linear velocity,angular velocity,and period;Secondly,compare and analyze the scientific reasoning and argumentation factors contained in these key contents.The third part is the summary and discussion part of the paper.Firstly,it summarizes the advantages of each version of the textbook,and proposes targeted writing suggestions for the key content of the second volume of high school physics compulsory courses,providing reference for the improvement of the sixth version of the textbook;Secondly,provide suggestions on how teachers can improve students’ scientific reasoning and scientific argumentation ability during the teaching process;Finally,point out the limitations of this paper and make prospects for future research. |
