Getting old before getting rich is a major challenge of rural aging.Solving the problem of old-age care for the elderly in rural areas is an important task of rural revitalization in the new era.Mutual-aid care is an emerging model in my country to deal with the insufficient supply of socialized care services in rural areas.Under such a background,it is of outstanding academic and practical value to refine the mobilization mechanism for villagers to participate in elderly care services for the elderly in distress, and to propose countermeasures and suggestions to effectively mobilize villagers to participate in elderly care services for elderly in distress. This study takes the asset-based regional development model theory as an analytical perspective, and builds a research framework for the mobilization mechanism of villagers participating in elderly care services for the elderly in distress. The research adopts qualitative research methods, focusing on three dimensions of asset-based,namely community assets, capacity building, and community network relationships, taking Fuzhou B village as the research object, using participatory observation method and in-depth interview method to mainly analyze the dilemma of B village. The elderly, project social workers, and villagers of village B conduct surveys, collect data, and use content analysis to analyze the collected data. The study analyzes the current situation of social workers mobilizing villagers to participate in the elderly care services for the elderly in distress, summarizes the strategies of social work to mobilize villagers to participate in elderly care services for the elderly in distress, explores the service logic of social work to effectively mobilize villagers in rural areas to participate in elderly care services for the elderly in distress, and finally refines the villagers’ participation in elderly care services in distress. The mobilization mechanism of elderly care services, and put forward social work service suggestions for mobilizing villagers to participate in elderly care services for the elderly in distress. The following are the findings of this study:First,in rural areas, the elderly in distress are facing various pension needs. On the material level, the elderly in distress in rural areas face the needs of old-age care for economic or material support;on the physiological level, they face the needs of old-age care for physical health care and preventive rehabilitation;on the level of spiritual support, they face the needs of old-age care for emotional care and personal dignity.Second, rural social workers face multiple difficulties in mobilizing villagers to participate in elderly care services for the elderly in distress.Due to the psychological constraints of "face",the lack of villagers’ participation cognition and trust among villagers, and the lack of volunteers’ sense of group belonging, villagers in rural communities have "unintentional participation" and insufficient participation in elderly care services for the elderly in distress. At the same time,it is prone to the phenomenon of abnormal evaluation of participation and weak persistence of participation.Third, through the mobilization process of identifying, excavating and activating community assets in rural areas and building a community relationship network, social workers can effectively preserve and add value to community assets to help the community meet the needs of elderly care services for the elderly in need.Based on the analysis and discussion of social workers’ mobilization practice, this study extracts a mobilization mechanism for villagers to participate in elderly care services for the elderly in distress. This mechanism has the following three aspects: first, comprehensively evaluate the community situation, focusing on local advantages;Based on community assets, mobilize with participation, relationship, and incentive as the core elements of mobilization;third, grasp the mobilization mechanism of "participation-relationship-participation-incentive-participation",and ultimately increase community assets, respond to community needs, and make The mobilization results of villagers’ participation in elderly care services for the elderly in distress are effective and sustainable.Based on the conclusions of the study, this study also tries to put forward two suggestions for mobilizing villagers to participate in elderly care services for the elderly in distress: first, design a comprehensive evaluation system, emphasize the identification of the "local" advantages of the community, and achieve a combination of evaluation points;third Second, take community assets as an intervention point, emphasizing the use of three elements of participation, relationship, and incentives in mobilization strategies.
