Food security is an important material guarantee for national security.Based on the overall strategic situation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the great changes in the world unseen in a century,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has incorporated food security into the overall national security situation,and has put forward a new concept of food security as an action guide for the food security strategy.The ability to ensure security and take the road of food security with Chinese characteristics provides the fundamental guidelines.In the curriculum reform in the new era,in order to implement the fundamental task of morality and cultivating people,the senior high school geography curriculum emphasizes the need to integrate into national security education,use the characteristics of geography to enhance the national security awareness of young people,and cultivate all-round development of socialist builders and successors.Therefore,to carry out the research on integrating the new concept of food security into high school geography teaching has a certain theoretical value for further improving teachers’ awareness of the concept of national security,indepth understanding of the connotation of the new concept of food security,and carrying out education and teaching activities for the new concept of food security in the new era.and important practical significance.This paper uses the literature research method to sort out the official documents and materials of the new concept of food security,and summarizes the connotation of the new concept of food security.This paper analyzes the fit between the relevant content and the education of the new concept of food security;through questionnaires and in-depth interviews,analyzes the teaching status,problems and reasons of the education of the new concept of food security in senior high school geography teaching;optimization strategy;on this basis,combined with the teaching content of "resource security and national security",the teaching case design and analysis of integrating the new concept of food security education into the high school geography teaching were carried out.research shows:(1)The new concept of food security is the core concern of domestic food security in the new era,with rich connotations and distinctive characteristics of the times.It includes the connotation of five dimensions: the concept of grain quantity security,the concept of grain quality security,the concept of grain structure security,the concept of grain trade security and the concept of grain ecological security,and it is urgent to carry out publicity and education on it.(2)By analyzing the fit between high school geography teaching and the education of the new concept of food security,it is found that the curriculum standards and teaching materials of compulsory one must conform to the concept of quantitative security and ecological security of food,and reflect the relationship between new food security and natural resources and the environment;In the course standards and textbooks of compulsory 2,the development strategies of many countries are combined to highlight the internal relationship between food security and population and urbanization development,as well as the impact of social factors on the food industry,reflecting the development of the food industry to the whole industry.The characteristics of development;the geography college entrance examination questions mainly rely on knowledge points such as "agricultural location factors and changes",focusing on examining the impact of cultivated land resources on food production,and highlighting the role of science and technology in the development of the food security industry.(3)Through the investigation of the current situation of the education of the new concept of food security among high school geography teachers and students,it is found that: at present,middle school teachers are actively concerned about the strategy of the new concept of food security,but they do not think deeply enough;The degree of food security education in schools is of the times,but the form is single;the awareness of integrating the new concept of food security into high school geography teaching needs to be improved,and the path needs to be deepened.(4)On the basis of theoretical analysis and current situation investigation,according to the content of high school geography teaching and the existing teaching conditions,put forward the optimization strategy of integrating the new concept of food security into high school geography teaching: First,strengthen national security education and training,and improve the professionalism of geography teachers literacy;the second is to formulate teaching objectives in combination with safety education requirements and geographic curriculum standards;the third is to evaluate and analyze food security cases on a temporal and spatial scale to create a real situation;the fourth is to integrate social and research education resources to expand practical education.And design the teaching case of "resource security and national security" to provide a reference for promoting the teaching practice activities of integrating the new concept of food security education into the high school geography teaching.
