| Research purpose:With the continuous development of social education and the continuous promotion of "curriculum ideological and political education",the demand for universities to strengthen ideological and political education and talent cultivation is becoming increasingly high.Basketball,as one of the favorite ball games for male and female students in universities,is particularly urgent to develop the ideological and political education of basketball courses.The study first sorted out the ideological and political elements contained in basketball courses;Further designed the teaching of basketball public elective courses in ordinary universities that incorporate ideological and political elements;Finally,the feasibility and effectiveness of integrating ideological and political education into basketball public elective courses were explored through teaching experiments,providing a reference basis for the ideological and political construction of basketball public elective courses in ordinary universities,and also providing reference and reference for the implementation of ideological and political education in various sports courses.Research methods:Relying on the educational teaching theory,embodied moral education theory and the document "Guidelines for Ideological and Political Construction of University Curriculum",firstly,the ideological and political elements contained in basketball curriculum were sorted out and established by using the literature method,expert interview method and Delphi method method,and the ideological and political element system of basketball curriculum in this thesis was established;We have further designed basketball course teaching that incorporates ideological and political elements from aspects such as teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching methods,teaching strategies,and teaching evaluation;Finally,the experimental subjects were students of basketball public elective courses in ordinary universities of Hangzhou Normal University.The teaching design of integrating ideological and political elements into basketball courses was used as stimulus variables,and the response variables were college students’ ideological and political level,learning interest,mental health,and basketball skill level.Research results:1.The ideological and political element system of college basketball curriculum includes 10 indicators,such as patriotic awareness,fighting awareness,trust awareness,calm awareness,rule awareness,team awareness,competition awareness,collective consciousness,role awareness and responsibility awareness;2.The teaching design of basketball courses in universities has been optimized from the aspects of teaching objectives,content,methods,strategies,evaluation,etc.The following four points have been proposed:(1)improving the teaching objective design and adding "ideological and political objectives";(2)Supplement teaching content and incorporate ideological and political elements into basketball courses;(3)Integrating teaching strategies and combining imparting skills with ideological and political education;(4)Optimize teaching evaluation and reflect a diversified evaluation system;3.Through ten weeks of teaching experiments,the results show that:(1)the basketball public elective teaching(experimental group)that integrates ideological and political elements into the curriculum is more effective in improving students’ ideological and political level than the traditional skill mastery basketball teaching(control group).After the experiment,there was a significant difference in ideological and political dimensions between the experimental class and the control class(P<0.05);(2)The experimental class is more effective in stimulating students’ learning interest than the control class.After the experiment,there were significant differences(P<0.05)between the experimental class and the control class in the four dimensions of learning interest negativity,skill learning,extracurricular activities,and sports attention;(3)The experimental class is more effective in promoting students’ mental health than the control class.After the experiment,both the experimental and control classes had P values less than 0.01 in the dimensions of interpersonal harmony,positive learning,emotional regulation,goal pursuit,and courage to challenge in mental health,while P values were less than 0.05 in the dimension of happiness experience;(4)The experimental class can enhance students’ motor skills compared to the control class,but there is no significant difference between the two.The P-value is greater than 0.05 in both the V-shaped layup and free throw events.Therefore,the integration of ideological and political courses in basketball public elective teaching for the improvement of sports skills needs further exploration.Research conclusion:The system of ideological and political elements of college basketball curriculum has been sorted out and constructed,including 10 indicators,such as patriotic awareness,fighting awareness,trust awareness,calm awareness,rule awareness,team awareness,competition awareness,collective consciousness,role awareness and responsibility awareness;Further optimized the teaching design of basketball courses in universities from the aspects of teaching objectives,content,methods,evaluation,etc;Finally,it was verified that integrating ideological and political elements into the curriculum in college basketball public elective teaching is more effective than traditional skill mastery teaching in promoting students’ ideological and political level,learning interest,mental health,and sports skills progress.However,the improvement in sports skills is not as significant as the other three indicators.On the one hand,the research has proven the operability of incorporating ideological and political elements into the teaching design of basketball public elective courses,and on the other hand,it has also verified the effectiveness of this teaching design in promoting the implementation of ideological and political elements in basketball courses.Therefore,research suggests that in the teaching of physical education courses in ordinary universities,ideological and political training should be strengthened for teachers to enhance their ideological and political awareness and ability. |
