Research Responsibility Spirit Of College Students And Its Cultivation In The New Era

The new era proposes to cultivate "new talents of the era who will take on the task of national rejuvenation",and General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly mentioned the word "responsibility" in his speeches and placed high hopes on the vast number of young students.As the future of the nation and the hope of building a strong country,college students must have a strong spirit of responsibility in order to shoulder the heavy responsibilities of the times.The spirit of responsibility is that people in the process of pursuing ideal morality in order to achieve their own value,consciously maintain their responsibilities to themselves,to others and society,to the country and nation and human beings,on this basis,so that the individual’s conscience is settled and the heart is satisfied,which is also the individual’s psychological reaction and practical behavior,and is the coordinated development of cognition,emotion,will,and behavior.The idea of responsibility in the excellent traditional Chinese culture,the relevant theories of Marxist classic writers,the expositions of Chinese communists on the responsibility of young people,and the Western thought of responsibility provide theoretical references for exploring the cultivation of the spirit of responsibility of college students in the new era.Cultivating the spirit of responsibility of college students in the new era is of great significance to realizing the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation,promoting the modernization of national governance,enhancing the effect of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and shaping the sound personality of college students.Using empirical research to investigate the overall status of college students’ responsibility spirit,and using SPSS26.0 to conduct a descriptive analysis of the questionnaire,it is found that college students’ responsibility spirit is more optimistic on the whole,has good patriotic feelings,has a higher degree of recognition of the responsibility spirit,and has a better initiative to take responsibility.However,the cognition,emotion,will and behavior of college students to take on the spirit are slightly lacking,mainly due to the slightly insufficient family education,insufficient attention to school cultivation,adverse effects of the social environment,and insufficient subjective willingness of college students to self-education.In view of this,the path of spiritual cultivation of college students in the new era should start from cognition,emotion,will,and behavior,obtain responsible cognition from curriculum education,and give full play to the role of ideological and political courses and curriculum ideological and political synergy education.To awaken self-conscience,introspect one’s own current situation,practice self-discipline,and adhere to the subjective initiative of self-education of college students to form a sense of responsibility;Strengthen the identity of responsibility in the edification of the environment,enhance the identity of responsibility with a warm family environment,stimulate the feeling of responsibility with rich campus culture,and abide by public opinion guidance with a clear social environment;Layered guidance to carry out volunteer activities,enrich practical activities,and build a practical incentive mechanism to allow college students to consolidate their responsible behavior in social practice and promote the cultivation of the spirit of responsibility.
