| Online recruitment has the characteristics of high efficiency and flexibility, fast update speed, short time, low cost, rich information and high utilization rate, and has gradually become one of the mainstream recruitment channels in recent years.Especially after the new crown pneumonia epidemic, online recruitment has become an important channel to promote the employment of college graduates,China’s Human Resources and Social Security Office emphasized in the notice to encourage universities, employers and human resource service institutions to build online job search channels to ensure the employment needs of college graduates. The personal information and resume information provided by users are an important source of data accumulation on recruitment platforms, however, the frequent negative news of personal resume information being sold in bulk and wantonly downloaded has caused people to worry about the use of online recruitment channels and the protection of personal information security. Therefore,it is very important to explore what factors affect college graduates’ concerns about the use of personal information in the process of online job search and alleviate the pressure of college graduates to apply for online jobs.Based on the APCO model,Adams privacy model and related literature research results, this paper designs an interview outline of college graduates’ privacy concerns in the context of online recruitment, and uses grounded theoretical research methods to extract the influencing factors of college graduates’ privacy concerns, which come from four aspects: individual differences, individual perception, platform and environment. This paper combines the relevant research of privacy computing theory, control agent theory and protection motivation theory, and constructs a model of influencing factors of privacy concern from the user, platform and environment levels.Questionnaire surveys were conducted for college graduates with online job search experience to collect data, and the structural equation model was used to verify the constructed factor model, and the research hypothesis results were analyzed and conclusions were drawn. The main findings are as follows:Through the grounded theoretical research method, the interview data of college graduates with online job search experience were coded and analyzed, and four horizontal factors were extracted, namely, individual difference factors, including privacy tendency, privacy violation experience, and self-efficacy.Individual perceived factors include trust, perceived risk;Platform factors include privacy settings, validity, reputation;Environmental factors include privacy policy effectiveness, laws and regulations.Through questionnaire survey,it was found that privacy tendency, privacy violation experience and perceived risk among individual factors had a significant positive impact on privacy concerns, and trust had a significant negative impact on privacy concerns.Among the platform factors, the reputation of the website has a significant negative impact on privacy concerns;Among the environmental factors, the effectiveness of the privacy policy of the recruitment website, laws and regulations have a significant negative impact on privacy concerns.Among them, the individual’s privacy violation experience and privacy tendency have the strongest effect on privacy concerns, and the effectiveness of privacy policies of recruitment websites and the weakest effect of laws and regulations on privacy concerns. The extent to which self-efficacy and the effectiveness of privacy settings play a significant role in privacy concerns is not significant.Combined with the above research, this paper gives management suggestions from three levels: user management, platform supervision and government legislation. At the user level, college graduates continue to enhance their network literacy and privacy protection awareness, and improve privacy protection technologies and capabilities. At the platform level, online recruitment platforms should pay attention to creating an environment with strong security and sound protection measures, enhance the trust between users and recruitment websites, and weaken the risk of privacy perception. At the environmental level, government departments continue to improve the legal and regulatory framework of the online recruitment industry and regulate the development of the online recruitment industry. |
