With the development of next generation mobile communication,augmented reality and virtual reality display technology has attracted extensive attention.Among them,the near eye display device represented by augmented reality technology has entered people’s life in the form of glasses.It has high integration and wide applications.However,the development of test equipment for augmented reality glasses is developing.The survey shows that the existing test equipment has the disadvantages of large volume,high price,single test results and long time consuming,and some of the test results still rely on the subjective feelings of wearers.Therefore,this paper proposes a test system of augmented reality glasses based on CCD camera,which can quickly test some optical properties of unassembled near eye display equipment.The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,a test method of augmented reality glasses based on CCD camera is proposed,and the optical properties of field of view display and imaging quality are introduced.The distortion and field angle belong to the field of view display evaluation part,and the evaluation of color restoration,brightness uniformity and modulation function belong to the imaging quality evaluation part.The test methods for the above five optical attributes are proposed.Secondly,a new wavelet threshold function is proposed in this paper.By changing the size of the adjustment factor,the image with the highest reconstruction accuracy is obtained.In the assembly process of augmented reality glasses to be tested,due to the deviation of coating process,the final imaging may produce ghosting,so the imaging quality cannot be tested.However,after image denoising,some parameters of field of view display can still be obtained.Simulation results show that when the value of the adjustment factor is taken to 1.2,the image denoising evaluation index can achieve the good effect.Median filter can remove pepper noise well.The improved wavelet threshold denoising algorithm combined with median filter denoising improves the peak signal-tonoise ratio by 3.18 d B.Finally,the hardware test system is built,the CCD camera with Gig E interface is collected in real time based on Lab VIEW platform and IMAQVision,and the HMI(Human Machine Interface)is built by using app designer platform of MATLAB platform.For the final test results,the field angle accuracy error is taken to the percent of 10.7,and the distortion value of the equipment to be tested is taken to the percent of 3.4;When testing the brightness uniformity,When the value of the relative aperture of the camera is taken to ten,the goodness of fit of the gray brightness regression curve reaches 0.9998 and the color reduction reaches the percent of 89.94.A accurate modulation transfer function curve is obtained.
