With the deepening of research in the marine field,the development of marine resources and marine environmental protection has attracted more and more attention.Clustered underwater acoustic communication networking has been widely used as an important technical means for large-scale acquisition of underwater information and collaborative detection of underwater information.Therefore,it is very important to propose a network protocol suitable for the clustering network according to the clustering requirement.Network simulation modeling technology is regarded as an important method to verify the performance of network protocols because of its easy construction of network scenarios and convenient operation.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to verify the performance of network protocols through network simulation modeling technology.This paper is based on the above requirements to carry out specific research on related work.Firstly,choose OPNET network modeling and simulation software as the simulation platform to verify the performance of the network protocol.Research its simulation process,modeling mechanism and simulation mechanism.According to the application environment of underwater acoustic communication network,the matching wireless pipeline modeling mechanism is selected in OPNET,and the corresponding stages of the wireless pipeline are modified according to the characteristics of underwater acoustic channel.According to the application background of the engineering project,the network topology is selected and the simulation scene is designed to lay the foundation for the subsequent research on the MAC access protocol of the clustered network.Secondly,the MAC access protocol in the intra-cluster scenario is studied.The TDMA protocol and its necessity of time synchronization are studied.The Tri-Message time synchronization algorithm is used to ensure the performance of the TDMA protocol.On this basis,in order to improve the channel utilization rate of the nodes in the cluster,the TDMA protocol is improved,and the dynamic allocation of time slots for ACK response TDMA protocol is proposed.Then,an adaptive MAC protocol is proposed for the change of network load in the cluster.In the designed intra-cluster scenario,the Tri-Message time synchronization algorithm,the dynamic allocation of time slot TDMA protocol for ACK response,and the adaptive MAC protocol are simulated and verified.Through the comparative analysis of clock drift rate,clock offset,throughput,end-to-end delay,and packet loss rate,the accuracy of TriMessage time synchronization algorithm and the dynamic performance of adaptive MAC protocol compared with ACK response are verified.The allocated time slot TDMA protocol has better network performance.Finally,the MAC access protocol in the inter-cluster scenario is studied.Through the comparative analysis of application scenarios between clusters and within clusters,MACAW protocol is selected as the MAC access protocol in the scenario between clusters.On this basis,in order to make full use of channel resources,the MACAW protocol is improved,and the MACAW protocol based on channel multiplexing is proposed.In the designed inter-cluster scenario,the ALOHA protocol,the MACAW protocol,and the channel multiplexing MACAW protocol are simulated and verified.Through the comparative analysis of throughput,end-toend delay and packet loss rate,the applicability of MACAW protocol as an inter-cluster protocol is proved,and the channel multiplexing MACAW protocol has better network performance than MACAW protocol.
