Research On Reverse Logistics Network Design Of Express Packaging Of JK Company

With the rapid development of e-commerce industry,China’s express enterprises also show a rapid growth trend,which has brought great development advantages to express logistics enterprises.In 2022,the daily average handling capacity of express delivery will be nearly 300 million,and the overall business volume will reach 110.3 billion.At the same time,however,the growth of express business volume has also brought some problems to the sustainable development of our society.For example,a large number of express packaging materials have been improperly recycled and disposed,resulting in a serious waste of resources.Moreover,due to the lack of public awareness of recycling,the recovery rate of express packaging materials is low,there is a lack of recycling channels,and there is a lack of recycling power.With the continuous expansion of its negative impact,the state has issued a series of policies to encourage enterprises to develop reverse logistics of express packaging.Therefore,in view of the current situation of the recovery of express packaging materials,it is of theoretical and practical significance to design the reverse logistics network of express packaging materials.As a third-party logistics enterprise,JK should actively respond to the national policy call and social needs,carry out reverse logistics business,solve the waste of resources,and contribute to environmental protection;At the same time,due to the increasing competitive pressure in the forward logistics market,reverse logistics business helps enterprises to open up new markets.Therefore,this paper takes JK Company’s reverse logistics network design of express packaging as the research topic.First of all,it analyzes the business status and operation status of JK Company,finds that there are problems such as high logistics costs,unreasonable logistics network layout,etc.,and puts forward that developing reverse logistics of express packaging is the only way to solve the existing problems and achieve strategic transformation.Secondly,to carry out the reverse logistics business of express packaging,we must design a perfect reverse logistics network of express packaging,define the design principles and objectives and select an appropriate operation mode;Through the structural design of reverse logistics network for express packages,the overall process of reverse logistics is formulated,and the role of each node is analyzed to select the appropriate model method;A mixed integer programming model with the goal of minimizing the cost and carbon emissions is established by introducing the quantitative calculation formula of carbon emissions.Thirdly,combined with the actual data and materials of JK Company,the express outlets in local areas of W City are selected for analysis,and genetic algorithm is used to solve the model to obtain reasonable site selection and flow distribution results,and verify the feasibility of the model.Finally,according to the actual situation of JK Company,some targeted safeguard measures are proposed from the aspects of the implementation process of reverse logistics,integrated reverse logistics system,and the construction of information integrated management system to ensure the smooth implementation of the express packaging reverse logistics program in the company.
