Research On The Narrative Of COVID-19 Vaccine News In Science And Technology Daily

As an emergency measure for public health emergencies,the COVID-19 vaccine is an effective,economic and important preventive measure for human beings to deal with COVID-19.In the process of people’s understanding and acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine,the media plays a key role in transmitting information and guiding public opinion.In the face of the COVID-19 vaccine,a new scientific and technological product involving public health security,social stability and international relations,how to narrate the COVID-19 vaccine news is particularly important.As a comprehensive mainstream media with scientific and technological characteristics,Science and Technology Daily is consistent with the characteristics of the COVID-19 vaccine issue,and has a positive practice in reporting the COVID-19 vaccine.With the help of news narratology theory,this study selects 241 the COVID-19 vaccine reports from Science and Technology daily from February 1st,2020 to December 31 st,2021,and studies the COVID-19 vaccine report narrative of Science and Technology Daily from three aspects: narrative content,narrator and narrative mode,summarizes the report narrative characteristics,summarizes the shortcomings of report narrative,and puts forward countermeasures,so as to provide news narrative reference for other media to report similar topics.In terms of narrative contents,Science and Technology Daily focuses on reporting the scientific research progress of the COVID-19 vaccine at home and abroad,with a neutral attitude.The narrative focuses on events,characters and popular science,showing a more open and diversified narrative attitude as a whole.As far as the narrator is concerned,the research is carried out from perspectives of narrators and narrators.It is found that the COVID-19 vaccine report in Science and Technology Daily is used to hide the narrative intention behind the narration of the characters in the text,so as to increase the objectivity of the narrative;It also show the narrators’ attitude and guide the readers according to the narrative needs,so as to enhance the authority of the narrative;The omniscient perspective is also widely used to flexibly and freely carry out all-round narration,so as to spread the narrative panorama of the combination of reason and reason.In terms of narrative mode,the research starts from narrative structure and narrative rhetoric.It is found that narrative structures of COVID-19 vaccine report in Science and Technology Daily is dominated by one-way structure and supplemented by compound structure.In narrative rhetoric,it is good at using questions,metaphors and details to make the main line of news text clear,easy to understand,objective and true.Through the application of narrative style,it has built a bridge between elite and civilians.Based on the analysis of narrative content,narrator and narrative mode,this paper summarizes that there are some problems in the new crown vaccine report of science and technology daily,such as the imbalance of report genre and theme setting,the lack of presentation of ordinary people’s perspective and image,the fragmentation of narrative story,the inadequate popularization treatment,the simple application of balanced narrative principle and so on.In order to deal with these problems and improve the narrative effect of COVID-19 vaccine report in science and technology daily,the research puts forward optimization suggestions from the aspects of enhancing the depth and breadth of narrative text,increasing humanistic care in news narrative,giving consideration to the objectivity and attraction of narrative,and strengthening reporters’ scientific literacy and narrative ability.
