Research On The Role Of Micro-blog Opinion Leaders In Emergencies

With the advent of the new media era,the communication and diffusion channels of emergencies have changed.Weibo has not only become the frontline of the exchange of ideas,but also gradually become the most important carrier of online public opinion.The response to emergencies has always been an important work of the media and the government.With the development of micro-blog in China,micro-blog opinion leaders gradually control a certain voice in the online world and play an increasingly important role in the current network public opinion dissemination of emergencies.However,looking at the existing research results,scholars mostly focus on the role of media and government in emergency response based on the media and government perspectives,and have not paid enough attention to the role of micro-blog opinion leaders in emergencies.This paper takes the "June 10,Tangshan Barbecue Hitting Event" in 2022 as an example,and uses the content analysis method and case study method to construct the role of micro-blog opinion leader in emergencies.First,on the basis of previous studies,establish a set of indicators to identify opinion leaders,and dig out the real opinion leaders in the event of the Tangshan BBQ beating.Secondly,based on content analysis,the characteristics of micro-blog content of opinion leaders are investigated.According to these characteristics,under the framework of social role theory,the role of micro-blog opinion leaders in the Tangshan Barbecue Beating Event was constructed from three aspects: role expectation,role practice and role imbalance.The research found that micro-blog opinion leaders faced different role expectations during the crisis,extension and regression periods of the Tangshan Barbecue Beating Event;In reality,micro-blog opinion leaders play three main types of roles,that is,the role of communication,the role of guidance and the role of mobilization;Moreover,the role practice of micro-blog opinion leaders has not all met the expectations of the society,and there are still some role imbalance phenomena such as the lack of public opinion guidance of public opinion leaders,the intense expression of star opinion leaders,and the anomie of grassroots opinion leaders.Finally,in view of the internal and external mechanism of the cause of the role imbalance of micro-blog opinion leaders,this paper proposes the role adjustment strategy of micro-blog opinion leaders from the two levels of self-discipline and heteronomy,in order to provide an effective reference basis for this group to play its role in future emergencies,so that the role practice of micro-blog opinion leaders can return to the track expected by the society,which will promote the healthy and orderly development of the online public opinion field It is of great significance to maintain social stability.
