Research On The Effect Of Setter's Skills And Tactics In The Chinese Women's Volleyball Super Leagu

The China Women’s Volleyball Super League is a national women’s volleyball league organized by the China Volleyball Association,which is the top women’s volleyball tournament in China.For many years,the players of the Chinese women’s volleyball team have been selected from among the teams participating in the Chinese Women’s Volleyball Super League,and the level of excellent setters in the Chinese Women’s Volleyball Super League determines the level of the national team’s setters.The second setter is the "core" of the connection between attack and defense on the field.Its role is not only to pass the ball accurately and stably for the convenience of our attackers’ attack,but also to skillfully use various concealed actions based on the actual situation of the field and the implementation of the coaches’ tactical intentions,to control the opponent’s blocking players,and to maximize the competitive potential of our attackers.Therefore,in order to improve the overall performance of the team in the game,it is of great significance to study the techniques and tactics of second set.This article explores the advantages and disadvantages of domestic first-line female setters in various aspects of the competition through four aspects,namely,the basic qualities of setters and the overall quality,offense,defense,and organizational attack,among the top five teams in the 2021-2022 Chinese Women’s Volleyball Super League,and evaluates the level of setter skills and tactics of the top five teams in the league,in order to promote the development of the Chinese Women’s Volleyball Super League and cultivate reserve talents for volleyball setters in China,And provide theoretical basis for future scientific training of setters.This article uses the methods of literature review,expert interviews,video observation,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis,and WRSR analysis to deeply analyze the overall technical and tactical application effects of each setter and each team’s setter among the top five teams in the 2021-2022 Chinese Women’s Volleyball Super League,and draws the following main conclusions:(1)The overall average age of the setters in Tianjin team is the largest,while the overall average age of the setters in Jiangsu team is the smallest.Overall,the setters of Tianjin and Jiangsu teams are superior to other teams in terms of average spike and blocking height,with obvious online advantages.The overall average height of the setters of the Shanghai and Liaoning teams is lower than that of other teams.The Shandong team’s setters have the highest overall average weight and Ketolet index,while the Liaoning team’s setters have the lowest overall average weight and Ketolet index.(2)Each setter has a single serving method in the game,and the number of serving points in the opponent’s backcourt area is far greater than that in the front court.Each setter usually adopts the method of two dribbles for active attack,with Diao Linyu and Cai Yaqian having a higher frequency of two dribbles,while other teams’ setters have a relatively low frequency of two dribbles.Ding Xia is the best setter at second spiking,with the highest frequency of use,followed by Diao Linyu.Other setters have not used second spiking in the game.(3)The overall defensive and pilling performance of each setter and each team’s setter was good.In each setter’s hand,Yao Di’s performance in defense and pilling is the most prominent,while Chen Xintong’s performance in blocking is the best.In terms of the overall defense,pilling,and blocking of the setters in each team,Tianjin team performed the best,giving full play to the collaborative ability between individuals and teammates,while the indicators of other teams were basically the same.(4)In the five teams,the main setter has a higher effective pass rate than the substitute setter,but the gap between the effective pass rates of the five teams is small.Among them,Yao Di’s effective and accurate passing performance is the best for all setters.The overall effective passing and passing performance of the second setter of Tianjin Team is the best among the five teams.(5)For the top five teams in the 2021-2022 Chinese Women’s Volleyball Super League,the WRSR evaluation method was used to grade the technical and tactical abilities of each team’s setters and the overall.In the top five teams,the technical and tactical abilities of each setter are ranked as follows: Yao Di ranks first,Chen Xintong,Diao Linyu,and Ding Xia rank second,Yong Le,Xu Xiaoting,Sun Haiping,Zheng Mingyu,Cai Yaqian,and Mei Xiaohan rank third,and Zou Jiaqi,Sun Yan,and Chen Fanglin rank fourth.In terms of the overall technical and tactical abilities of the second setters of the top five teams,Tianjin and Jiangsu teams ranked second overall,Liaoning and Shandong teams ranked third overall,while Shanghai teams ranked fourth overall.
