Throughout the history of the development of China's volleyball,what has continuously drawing people's attention is the ups and downs of China women's national volleyball team.Ever since its establishment in 1976,inspired by its perseverance,tenacity and fighting spirit,it has been one of the leading squads in women's international volleyball,having won 9 gold medals in the Women's Volleyball World Championships,Women's Volleyball World Cup and the Olympic Games.Having captured many gold medals,it is a team of world-class standard and loved by millions.Founded in 1953,China Volleyball Association,which is under the leadership of All China Sports Federation,held the first China Women's Volleyball League in 1996.Since then,as an annual event,it has been the top honor that every provincial and municipal team fight for.However,during the past 2 decades,the performances of Yunnan provincial women's competitive volleyball has always been disappointing.Its tendency of development has remained unseen,which totally reflected its problems and drawbacks.In order to rejuvenate the golden days,Yunnan Province Sports Bureau has made adjustments in its organization and introduced top players from home and abroad.After 12 year's of struggle,Yunan provincial women's volleyball team finally made it's way in the season of 2014-2015 China Women's Volleyball League.Though the attempt of getting into Grade A was a successful one,however,compared with other better teams,many problems and drawbacks remain to be solved,such as drawbacks in basic techniques and tactics.To maintain the development and acquire improvement,a comprehensive and systematic analysis of various factors needed in fighting for champion is necessary,aiming at finding its problems,tapping its potential and making constructive plans for its development.Throughout a comprehensive survey,this thesis concludes that each team in China Women's Volleyball League has unique characters in basic techniques and tactics.However,the literature review finds that most studies at present are focused on volleyball teams of world class,while few on the national teams.Consequently,this thesis base its analysis on the relevant statistics on the season of 2014-2015 China Women's Volleyball League,and makes an analysis and statistic work of the application of various techniques and tactics used by Yunnan provincial women'svolleyball team,trying to make a comparison between it and its competitors,to analyze its problems and drawbacks and to tap its potential.Based on the statistics and comprehensive analysis,the thesis concludes that Yunnan provincial women's volleyball team needs to strengthen physical training for players,that setters should strengthen training on active offensive capability,that blockers should strengthen offensive capability and that the blocking ability should be strengthened to improve the overall offensive and attacking ability.As for the guiding ideology,we should focus on “swiftness” and “flexibility”.Meanwhile,continuous attention should be paid to training on mentality diathesis.Only through different and effective training,can the comprehensive ability of Yunnan provincial women's volleyball team be improved and better performances be achieved.
