| Integrated Service Network Gateway supporting voice,IP data and asynchronous data integrated services is widely used in the interlink of many communication systems or networks.With the rapid development of communication techniques,people have more and more strict requirements on networks gateways in performance,power,cost and volume.This paper introduces one network gateway based on SoPC to interlink one ATM network and one ATM network,one ATM network and one circuit switch network,one ATM network and one wireless communication system.SoPC,system on a prammable chip,has the advantages of highly flexible.Soft core can be configured in many modes,and design based on FPGA is easy to design logic electrocircuit.Integrated Service Network Gateway meets with several networks and communications has a large mount of software and hardware designs.This thesis proposes a scheme to use the co-design of software and hardware based on SoPC to implement the network gateway.The primary concept of SoPC and Integrated Service Network Gateway is given in this thesis firstly,and a scheme of Integrated Service Network Gateway based on SoPC hardware and software co-design techniques is proposed.All parts of circuit and software is designed in detail,the introduce on protocols or the flow of signaling and the program is given.Test on the Integrated Service Network Gateway is conducted.The test result shows Integrated Service Network Gateway achieve our intended goal with high performance index,good expansibility and superior in circuit area and power. |
