| This paper examines the reporting framework of the China Youth Daily’s Science and technology news during the three years 2017-2019.The research is carried out fr om the following two aspects:What are the characteristics of the length,genre,theme and tendency of the newspaper’s Science News report?What kind of framework exist s?This paper analyzes the content of related reports according to five dimensions:q uantity,subject,length,source and tendentiousness of reports,and summarizes the fra mework based on the analysis of concrete texts.It is found that there are four typical f rameworks in the science and Technology Report of China Youth Daily:The publicati on framework of scientific and technological achievements,the reporting framework of advanced scientific and technological figures,the Popular Science Framework and the scientific and technological activities framework.In the process of constructing th e framework,there are some shortcomings:the report topic is fixed,the content of the report is a little high in science and technology,and the report form is single.These p roblems need to be overcome through specific paths,in the rich selection of topics,ba lance the tendency of reporting,at the same time,strengthen the interpretation of tech nical terms,enhance journalistic professionalism,enrich the form of reporting.This st udy also has some limitations——The samples are all from China Youth Daily,whic h can not fully reflect the ecological panorama of the non-technological newspapers’sc ientific news reports.In addition,in terms of research period,this study only takes the China Youth Daily’s newspapers from 2017 to 2019 as a sample,and can only reflect the technology reporting framework constructed by the newspaper during this short pe riod,this paper attempts to provide some enlightenment and reference for China Yout h Daily and non-professional scientific media on the level of science and technology r eport. |
