With the implementation of the "people-oriented" Scientific Outlook on Development,the requirement of “establishing an archive resource system covering all the people”,the development and penetration of the archival memory view,and the continuous advancement of the project for people’s well-being,China has paid more and more attention to the protection of the rights and interests,recognition of rural migrant workers.In addition,the number of rural migrant workers grow rapidly,and their contributions have attracted much attention.In order to guide their orderly flow and facilitate urban management,under the call of the central and local policies,various regions have launched the practice of establishing files and archives for rural migrant workers.In addition,within the rural migrant workers group,they actively seek selfidentity and social identity,strive to preserve the group’s history,construct collective memory,and enhance group self-confidence.They have also begun to speak for themselves by creating a community archives.The gradual development of organizations’ and individual practices in different systems and industries has formed a situation in which multiple subjects participate in the construction.How to guide the archival information resource construction activities of each subject,how to promote the long-term sustainability of construction activities,and how to achieve the goal of strengthening identity and recognition have become urgent problems to be solved.Based on the investigation of the current situation and the problems existing in practice,this paper discusses the construction strategy of archive information resources for the identity of rural migrant workers.This article is mainly divided into six parts:The first part is an introduction.The part discusses the research background and significance of this article,the current research situation at home and abroad,elaborates related concepts,and introduces the main research content,as well as the research methods and innovations of the article.The second part is the analysis of the motivation of the archives to participate in the construction of identity.From the perspective of the value of the archives as evidence and the attribute of memory,the paper discusses the internal motivation from the two aspects of archives constructing memory,strengthening the identification,and from the three aspects of policy support,social transformation promotion,and information technology support to explain the external motivation.The third part is the situation investigation.Through the literature survey,online survey and interviews with Xu Duo,one of the person in charge of the Rural Migrant Workers’ Art and Culture Museum,the construction content is divided into two categories: personnel and other,the construction achievements are summarized,and the lack of standardization,coverage,integration and sustainability of construction are pointed out.The fourth part is the strategy analysis.In view of the current problems in the construction of archives information resources for the identification of rural migrant workers,it starts from three aspects: construction subject,construction content,and construction path.Suggestions for improvement are put forward from four aspects:information integration,distributing progress of the construction process,long-term mechanism and maintenance and update,and public participation.The fifth part is the construction guarantee,constructing the resource construction guarantee system can begin with the three levels: policy,capital and talents.The sixth part is to summarize the prospect,summarize the research content of the article,point out the research shortage and put forward the prospect of further research.
