| ODM model is an industry model which has been developed gradually by the end of last century.It has been generally used on PC industry.Over 80%of notebook products in worldwide are designed and manufactured by ODM companies.As smart phone business is growing up fast and been widely used everywhere,the global shipment of notebook business got significant impacted since 2011 and then stable around 2018.But in recent couple years,as Io T business grow up with more device requirement,also the work from home impact of COVID-19,the shipment of notebook started to bounce back.The shipment volume of Top-5 notebook brand companies is increasing every year,and some new brand companies are also getting started to involve into notebook business to enrich their product scope.This dissertation will use the world 3rd biggest brand comapny D as the object,study its lean supply chain management process and physical cases.Trying to find out its successful experience on keeping high efficiency under mass production with customer to order manufacturing model,also keep increasing its business every year with holding the 3rd position of notebook market share.This dissertation will use literature study from related articles and also many internal management procedures from D company regarding its global supply chain management strategy.It also deep dived D company’s lean management method and projects by using flow chart method,and validated through actual result or data.This dissertation also study the assessment and ranking system for multiple ODM suppliers business from comparative analysis method and AHP.To understand the coverage and effectiveness and find out the advantages and disadvantages through related result analysis.Then it summarized the lean methods through product design;ordering management;manufacturing process and feedback system,to help the companies who running similar business and willing to promote the lean supply chain management during the company business. |
