| The relationship between China manufacturing and the world is closer through with economy globalization development,however the labor cost advantage will be not remarkable from now on.How to reduce the enterprise operation cost is one meaningful topic.W company is one of the top enterprises which belong to security industry.The hardware condition of W company is almost same with the top-ranking enterprise in the world wide.Through the market share rapid growth the traditional supply chain management deficiency is also exposed,there is a lot of waste in supply chain.Especially in raw material delivery process,the standardization level is low and the business process is too complex.All of the issues lead to high material inventory,which occupied much space and extra money.So,this study analysis current problems and provide new improvement method,through the practice in W company to verify the new improvement method.The solutions will also can help other similar companies.Firstly,this article introduced the background and purpose for this study,point out the management issues in material delivery which lead to high inventory.Then,the study analysis the current condition of material delivery in W company,point out the major issues in material supply planning,supply delivery management,material delivery period management and performance management,then provide the related solutions according to root causes.Secondly,apply these solutions in W company and monitor the effect to verify the feasibility.Then,the implementation and result shows that the inventory reduce is remarkable.The KPIs e.g.inventory turnover,space reduction,output per square meter and order adherence rate prove that above solutions can solve the real problems in W company and also can be applied by other companies. |
