| Among manufacturing industries,high-tech manufacturing is characterized by high innovation,high spillover and high added value,and is the most active manufacturing field in R&D activities.In recent years,China’s high-tech manufacturing industry has made steady progress,r&d input has reached a new level,and innovation output has made new breakthroughs,which have increasingly supported and driven the manufacturing industry.The transition period of high-quality development puts forward new requirements for high-tech manufacturing industry.On the one hand,"innovation" is the important measures for enterprises to obtain and maintain competitive,technology innovation and business model innovation seize the moment for both enterprises,improve enterprise’s competitive advantage and maintain market position,etc all have important function,the most intuitive is can help enterprises to achieve high performance.On the other hand,good dynamic capability is also a key factor for high-tech enterprises to achieve high performance.In recent years,dynamic capability is one of the keys for enterprises to gain competitive advantage.The company’s mastery and rational use of dynamic capabilities is the key source for the company to create lasting competitive advantages and improve performance.Existing research results,points out that dynamic power management can help companies in a dynamic environment rapidly integrated structure,refactoring internal resources,make the company resources in line with the basis of the dynamic market environment,and by major changes in the signal quickly grasp the market environment.find new market opportunities,create new market change.better advantage of the synergistic effect of corporate resources,innovation ability.So as to better improve the company’s performance.To explore the dynamic capability and innovation behavior of matching will be what kind of impact on enterprise performance,this article in view of the configuration.from the perspective of "ability,value,performance" paradigm,select the a-share listed 221 electronic and communication equipment manufacturing enterprises and 214 pharmaceutical manufacturing,using fsQCA respectively to analyze data from two industries,The main conclusions are as follows:(1)high-tech manufacturing enterprises can achieve high enterprise performance only when they have high restructuring ability.(2)Resource squeeze exists among different innovation behaviors in high-tech manufacturing industry.It is not conducive for enterprises to achieve high performance to implement three or more innovation behaviors simultaneously in electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industry and four or more innovation behaviors simultaneously in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry;At the same time,there is a certain degree of substitutability between the progressive innovation in technological innovation and the sub-types in business model innovation.(3)High-tech manufacturing enterprises can achieve high enterprise performance only by implementing high-value creation and innovation.(4)Medical manufacturing industry has higher requirements for breakthrough technology innovation than electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industry.On the basis of the conclusion,this paper gets the following enlightenment from governance practice:First,enterprises should pay attention to the cultivation of their own dynamic capabilities:for high-tech manufacturing industry to achieve high performance,restructuring capabilities is a necessary condition.Secondly,enterprises should realize the importance of business model innovation and take technological innovation into account.Thirdly,due to the limited internal and external resources of enterprises,enterprises should have a definite aim,not overall consideration of all innovations,but should have some focus,according to their own dynamic ability and industry characteristics of the selection of matching innovation means.Innovation point of this article is:1,break the traditional thought of contingency,this study based on the theory of configuration,from a configuration perspective,the research of dynamic capabilities and innovative behavior different matching path path influence on enterprise performance,and analyzes the internal mechanism and enrich the enterprise capability,enterprise innovation research results of the effects on business performance.2.The cutting-edge method.fsQCA,was adopted in this study.The use of fsQCA not only makes use of a new method to analyze the "competence-innovation-performance" problem.but also increases the credibility and extensibility of conclusions and recommendations.In the past,the research on dynamic capability and business model innovation mostly adopts case study or questionnaire survey method,which has low industry universality.In this study,the secondary data of listed companies with more promotion significance are used to make the research results more universal and authentic,which is no longer limited to individual enterprises and can be used as the reference basis for most enterprises in high-tech manufacturing industry.The limitations of this paper lie in:1.The selection of data standards is subjective.Since there is no universally accepted method in this regard,this paper selected the upper and lower quartiles and their mean values as anchor values based on previous studies and descriptive statistical analysis of original variables.2.This paper adopts sectional data instead of panel data,which lacks certain dynamic characteristics.3.This paper only analyzes the internal conditions of the enterprise,without introducing external environmental conditions.Future research can further reduce the dimension of antecedent variables according to the results of this study,and increase external condition variables on the basis of reducing the number of antecedent variables.We should also actively explore methods and tools to study panel data from the perspective of configuration,constantly pay attention to the cutting-edge methods of QCA,and combine appropriate quantitative research methods with fsQCA methods to make research conclusions more accurate and dynamic. |
