| At present, the structure of migrant workers in my country has undergone profound changes, and the new generation of migrant workers has become the main force of this group. With the continuous expansion of its scale, academic circles have begun to pay attention to the urban integration of this group. After the new generation of migrant workers "entered the city",the media played a great role in their perception of urban life, especially in the current network context, the rapid development of new media represented by the Internet and smart phones, the new generation Migrant workers are more and more familiar with and use new media, and their reliance on new media is also increasing year by year. Therefore, starting from their media contact behaviors,it is necessary to study the role of media in their urban integration and acquisition of urban identity.certain meaning. The data in this study comes from the sub-database results of the National Social Science Fund Project "Research on the Guiding Mechanism of Upward Mobility for New Generation Migrant Workers from the Perspective of Media Empowerment ".Empirical analysis of 1402 questionnaire data. This study firstly conducts a descriptive analysis of the media exposure behavior and urban integration status of the new generation of migrant workers, and finds that mobile phones have been integrated into their daily lives, but their overall media literacy is low,and they are still in a "semiintegrated state";secondly By analyzing the population differences in media exposure behavior and urban integration status,it is found that there are differences in the time of media exposure in terms of gender, birth year, educational level and household registration location, but there is no difference in the trust degree of media content in the birth year. There are differences in gender, education level, household registration location, working years, working hours and annual income and urban integration, and there is no difference in marital status and birth year;Based on the control of demographic factors, the multiple linear regression of independent variable media exposure and dependent variable urban integration was carried out to find the "net value" of the impact of media exposure on urban integration. The study found that the media exposure time has a significant negative impact on their economic integration, social integration, cultural integration, psychological integration and total urban integration;there are positive or negative effects between different media exposure purposes and different dimensions of urban integration;Media content trust has a significant positive impact on its economy, society, culture, psychology and total urban integration.Based on the above research findings, for the new generation of migrant workers, their media contact behavior will affect their urban integration, but at the same time it should be noted that urban integration is a complex process that is affected by multiple factors, and the media can only Plays a smooth and progressive role. Therefore, the author puts forward suggestions from the three main bodies of the government, the media and the individual, hoping that they can realize the real urban integration as soon as possible. |
