| Looking back on the development of Chinese journalism history,the typical person report has always assumed an important propaganda mission.Among them,the Jiao Yu Lu as the country’s most influential one of the advanced model,57 years ago,the People’s Daily reported using the form of a large number of diverse,lively communication genre of publicity,make the discourse Jiao Yu Lu the advanced image has increased to a across the spirit of the age symbol,and become the Chinese people’s struggle,selfless dedication,positive spiritual food.This paper aims to make a discourse analysis of the People’s Daily’s communication reports on Jiao Yulu’s spirit,and tries to sort out the typical characteristics of Jiao Yulu’s image from the process of constructing typical character reports,further explore how Jiao Yulu rose from a glorious character image to a spiritual symbol,and answer the following questions:What impact did jiao Yulu,the model of county Party Secretary,bring to the first newsletter in 1966?How did the communication report continue to shape the image of Jiao Yulu in 57 years?How to reproduce Jiao Yulu spirit in discourse in different historical periods?What is the relationship between his personal image and spiritual transformation?From the perspective of the spiritual depiction track highlighted in the report,it can be reflected in four periods:the concentrated emergence period in 1966,the reappearance period after the reform and opening up,the continuation period since the 21st century,and the promotion period in the new period.Among them,in1966,the People’s Daily published the spirit of Jiao Yulu’s communication report showed two distinct construction characteristics:one is the class attribute in the discourse,the other is the specific spiritual connotation reflected in the life story.In the reappearance period of Jiao Yulu spirit,jiao Yulu spirit in discourse is transformed into an explicit value appeal,presenting two reporting trends:one is to show the value of jiao Yulu spirit of The Times,closely combined with the background of social development and national economic policy;The other is to inherit and carry forward the spiritual connotation of hard work and selfless dedication by shaping jiao Yulu cadres.In the continuation period of Jiao Yulu spirit,People’s Daily continuously promoted a large number of jiao Yulu cadres who were not only the practitioners of Jiao Yulu spirit,but also the boosters of vigorously developing market economy and the supporters of national policies.When General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected Lankao in 2009,he pointed out:"Jiao Yulu forged the spiritual connotation of being close to the people,working hard,being realistic scientifically,facing difficulties head on,and selfless dedication.（1）"It not only indicates its extensive value connotation,but also provides propaganda guidance for the development of jiao Yulu spirit report in the new era.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,jiao Yulu spirit has played a guiding role in the reporting period of carrying forward jiao Yulu spirit for party members and cadres,and their selfless public servant spirit of being close to the people;For the common people,his pragmatic spirit of hard struggle and facing difficulties also inspires people,and jiao Yulu’s spirit has more universal value.Using fairclough’s frame of news discourse analysis,this paper tries to reveal that the social practice factors of jiao Yulu’s spiritual change in communication report come from three aspects:the adaptation of Jiao Yulu’s spirit to political construction,the need of"good cadres"image in economic system,and the evolution of Jiao Yulu’s spirit in media practice.The three different practical dimensions essentially reflect the internal context of Chinese social development,which jointly contribute to the cross-era evolution of Jiao Yulu spirit in the discourse of People’s Daily,and reflect the development miniature of China’s typical character reports.Based on the present,the development of Chinese society still needs the support of strong spiritual power,and the typical figures endowed with the significance of The Times still play an irreplaceable role in the social context.The media still need to excavate the typical report in depth,to show the spirit of inspiring.thinking of the audience,but also skillfully use the reporting methods that are popular with the public;And to improve practical skills,skillfully use vivid language and detail description;In the in-depth excavation of the typical report,it shows the inspiring spiritual power. |
