| As the issue of "Environment and Ecology" has attracted global attention,environmental problems have become increasingly prominent and severe.In recent years,with the steady advancement and deepening of the "Belt and Road" initiative,China’s investment in Vietnam has also shown a steady upward trend.However,due to the complex and differentiated external communication environment,some Chinese-invested enterprises suffered environmental protection doubts or storms during local construction and operation,resulting in project delays,which not only caused heavy economic losses,but also had a negative impact on the reputation of China and Chinese enterprises.In this context,from the perspective of Communication,this paper regards enterprises as the main body of communication.The author uses literature analysis,case study and in-depth interviews to investigate the NIMBY risk communication environment of Chinese investment enterprises in Vietnam and the current situation of risk communication of enterprises themselves,in order to serve the construction of international communication capabilities of Chinese enterprises,better "going global",and promote the "Belt and Road" people-topeople bond.The survey found that the NIMBY risk generated by Chinese investment enterprises in Vietnam is closely related to external communication factors such as politics and diplomacy,media and public opinion,culture and ideology,law and the epidemic.It is also related to the internal communication elements of enterprises themselves such as lack of information disclosure,public relations communication,social trust construction as well as risk communication ability.In this regard,based on the theory of risk communication and the field of international communication research,the author has drawn the following conclusions by combining the positive and negative two specific NIMBY risk communication cases: At present,it is an urgent need to build a tripartite governance model with the scientific leadership from the Chinese government,the assistance and guidance from the media,and the active construction of public trust by enterprises.This model is used to prevent and resolve NIMBY risk,so as to promote enterprises to achieve effective communication and build social trust to better go global and go integrated. |
