Interactive Narrative Research On Children’s IP

As a special type of IP with children as the main audience,children’s IP has its own special cognitive development law due to object-oriented,so it is determined that children’s IP content needs to use special narrative skills.In the context of the digital media era,the development and maturity of human-computer interaction technology has brought a new type of narrative form to children’s IP narrative—interactive narrative.What are the typical narrative carriers of children’s IP after adopting the interactive narrative method,and what are their characteristics? What changes have occurred in the narrative subject and narrative form in children’s IP interactive narrative? What narrative strategies are used and what narrative functions can be achieved? What are the negative impacts on children in practical applications and how should they be addressed? Taking these questions as the starting point,combined with the interactive narrative theory,the investigation and research are carried out through the method of literature research,case analysis,text analysis and in-depth interview.The study found that at present,children’s IP interactive narrative mainly includes five types of carriers: interactive novels,interactive film and television works,interactive dramas,online interactive narrative games,and interactive children’s theme parks.From this,it is concluded that the children’s IP interactive narrative has the characteristics of simplicity and ease of use,interactive immersion and pleasure,coexistence of virtual and reality,and visual guidance.With the interaction and participation of multiple narrative subjects,children’s IP interactive narrative experiences the transformation of creator power transfer,narrative subject role alternation,and creator intelligence transition,while following the development of narrative media under the evolution of media form,the narrative form shows a gradual deepening of the degree of interaction the process of.Interactive narrative is a new narrative form,and the narrative strategy of children’s IP interactive narrative is innovative from the story and discourse levels,showing new narrative skills.The above-mentioned changes and innovations,on the one hand,conform to the laws of children’s cognitive development and play a certain auxiliary role in children’s cognitive learning and growth,and on the other hand,they also excavate more narrative possibilities.But at the same time,children’s IP interactive narrative also brings some hidden worries to children’s physical and mental growth,such as fragmented reading learning,loss of independent and deep thinking ability,blind imitation,and excessive addiction.Based on these negative effects,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions for the future development of children’s IP interactive narrative: strengthen the review of children’s content,grasp the correct value orientation;conform to the laws of children’s psychology and meet the needs of children’s development.Children’s IP content has a subtle influence on children’s cognitive development,comprehensively analyze the application and characteristics of children’s IP interactive narrative,understand the development law of narrative subject and form,focus on analyzing its narrative strategy,and explore the positive guiding role of children’s IP interactive narrative content on children’s growth and development.Negative hidden concerns have guiding significance for improving the quality and stickiness of children’s IP content and meeting the consumption and development needs of children’s diverse interactive digital content.
