In recent years,new media has continued to develop and various social groups can be presented in their roles through it.Among the new media,the rapid development of Jitterbug short videos has injected new vitality into the new media.Among the various social groups,the primary and secondary school teachers have the responsibility to teach by example,and there is a role presentation dilemma,i.e.some primary and secondary school teachers dress too fashionably and lead their classes to follow celebrities on the new media platform.Therefore,the role presentation of primary and secondary school teachers in the new media scene has raised concerns.In view of this,this paper uses the Shake Yin short video platform as a carrier and takes the group of primary and secondary school teachers as shake owners as the research object to study the role presentation of the social group in the new media scene.In this context,this paper takes theories such as media context theory and role theory as the basis of research,and applies research methods such as literature analysis,case study analysis,in-depth interview method and content analysis method to conduct research on the role presentation platform,presented role behaviour,presented role type and role image of the primary and secondary school teachers group as shake owners,as well as the factors affecting their role presentation,in order to achieve The purpose of this study is to examine the role presentation of the primary and secondary school teachers as shake masters in the new media scene,in order to provide reference for the primary and secondary school teachers to present their roles appropriately in the new media scene and help them create better quality works in the new media scene,as well as to provide reference for the study of the role presentation of other social groups in the new media scene.By systematically combing through the relevant literature on new media and new media scenes,the study found that elements such as media technology,economic trends and cultural atmosphere of new media have influenced the formation of new media scenes,and that new media scenes are characterised by convergence,overlap,personalisation,backstage and virtualisation;at the same time,based on the investigation of the example subjects,the study confirmed that the jitterbug scene in new media scenes has become a new platform for different primary and secondary school The study also confirmed that Jitterbug has become a new platform for the presentation of teachers’ roles in different primary and secondary schools.Based on the understanding of the new platform of role presentation,this paper,through literature analysis,case study analysis,content analysis and in-depth interviews,finally found that the role behaviour of primary and secondary school teachers as jitterbug owners is characterised by increased performativity,more post-zone behaviour,enhanced interactive feedback and circling,etc.The types of roles presented are complicated and the role images are diversified.In addition,from a broader perspective,the transformation and enhancement of internal elements and the stimulation and control of external elements of primary and secondary school teachers influence their role presentation.The study also found that there are both values and dilemmas in the role presentation of primary and secondary school teachers as shakeholders.For example,the enhanced self-presentation of primary and secondary school teachers’ roles offers the possibility of presenting multiple elements of their roles.At the same time,primary and secondary school teachers are confused about the boundaries of their own appropriate behaviour,and there is also the oddity of ’real and fake’ in the context of role diversion,which is not only the value and dilemma of the subject of the example,but also the general’role displacement’ of social groups triggered by the new media scene.It is also the "sense of role displacement" of a widespread social group triggered by the new media scene.
