Modern production operation emphasizes rational and full use of enterprise resources to organize production activities and achieve the goal of providing high-quality products that meet the requirements from customer.Therefore,how to improve output rate,improve customer satisfaction and reduce operating costs during the production process is the key of success to the enterprises in the fierce market competition.Semiconductor industry is a typical asset and technology intensive industry,and the competition in this industry is extremely fierce.For semiconductor manufacturing enterprises,how to control and manage the inventory level of products in process effectively,reduce production costs and improve output rate is the basic requirement for the enterprises to survive in the industry.Using the method of linking theory with practice,this article choose the WIP management of the production site of X semiconductor wafer recycling company as the main research object,and carries out corresponding analysis and diagnosis for its production and factory operation process on the basis of learning and learning from the research theories of relevant scholars at home and abroad on WIP management and production control mode,It is found that the inappropriate design of production plan and production control mode leads to the increase of WIP inventory level,which also leads to a series of operation problems,such as extension of product delivery cycle and decline of customer satisfaction.In order to solve the problems that X company faced.by applying the TOC principle,little’s law,CONWIP control and other theoretical knowledge,tools,and also with the improvement of the corresponding process flow and workshop operation system,design and propose a corresponding WIP management improvement plan,hope it can help X company to solve current problems,and also to achieve the goal of improving the enterprise’s market competitiveness.
