| Financial shared center has become an important organization for many large enterprises to improve their financial management ability.The establishment of shared services center can help enterprises to centrally deal with a large number of complicated and repetitive work,which is of great significance to the development of the company.In the context of rapid economic development,the scale of enterprises will continue to expand,and the number of branches of some enterprises will continue to increase.At this time,if the traditional financial management mode is still adopted,it will seriously reduce the operation efficiency of the enterprise.Therefore,some scholars have established the financial shared service center model through research,and achieved positive results in the process of practical application.However,the concept of financial shared center is still relatively new for Chinese enterprises.Although some enterprises can clarify the positive significance of financial shared center for the development of enterprises,many problems often appear in the actual operation process,so it is very necessary to study the operation of financial shared center for enterprises in China.The article takes the financial shared service center of Company A as the case study.Firstly,it compares domestic and foreign research literature on the concept of shared services and financial shared services,the development history,operation effect and optimization of financial shared service center,and explains the concept and theoretical basis of financial shared and financial shared service center.Secondly,it introduces the establishing background of the financial shared service center of Company A and its overview.Again,the analysis finds that after the Company A operates the financial shared service center,the company’s financial operation efficiency improves,operation budget decreases,accounting information strengthen and central business flows becomes smoother,all on a steady process.However,due to the financial shared service center of Company A is still at an initial stage,there are still problems such as mismatch of employee number and center workload,insufficient process re-engineering,inadequate information suitability,and unhealthy employee evaluation and training mechanism etc.Finally,in response to such problems,the paper proposes measures to optimize the center’s personnel management,the center’s process management,the matching degree between systems,and the performance management system and employee career planning,in order to improve the operation of Company A’s financial shared service center.The thesis is aim to stress that the financial shared services center is in line with it’s own development by studying the financial shared services center of Company A that owns a large number of subsidiaries and with an expanding production scale and a rapidly increasing business volume.The operation of financial shared services center of Company A does help to achieve a better result of subsidiary management,work efficient,and lower operation cost.However,the operation itself still needs to be further optimized.Company A should focus on four aspects of optimization: organization,business process,information system,and staff management.It is hoped that the study can play a positive role in the development and improvement of the financial shared service center of Company A,and to serve as a reference for similar companies operating financial shared service centers. |
