The media has played an important role in changing public perceptions of doctors in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.There has been a significant change in the agenda of medical coverage in the media,with a more positive emotional tendency,which is obviously of certain significance for improving the doctor-patient relationship.In this paper,based on the agenda-setting theory,combined with satisfy theory,analysis of resistance to disease before and after the media reports and change of the doctor-patient relationship,explore the media reported disease resistance’s influence on the town of doctor-patient relationship,and try to give play to the role of media power to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship to provide feasible Suggestions,in order to set the agenda,correct vocal,the media will help spread on social positive energy.This paper mainly adopts in-depth interview method,taking Yinying town,a suburb of Yangquan City,Shanxi Province as an example,interviews 15 local medical staff and 21 people,supplemented by questionnaire survey,simple quantitative analysis of the collected information,in order to verify the external validity of qualitative research.Through investigation and study town public media usage,resistance to disease before and after the change of media coverage and the characteristics of resistance to disease report agenda setting,analysis of anti epidemic report the agenda-setting function,from the access to information,the emotional resonance,relationship,experience participation,self-realization and so on five kinds of demand on media reported disease resistant active influence on the doctor-patient relationship,Problems in reporting on COVID-19 and ways in which the media can help improve doctor-patient relations.Before and after COVID-19,media reports on doctor-patient relationship have changed significantly in terms of quantity,position and content.Mainstream media’s exposure to medical staff has increased rapidly,and we-media’s coverage of doctor-patient relationship has gradually shifted from unfair and eye-grabbing reports to realistic reports.In this process,agenda setting plays a role of warning,guiding public opinion,topic construction and education guidance.These positive agenda setting has improved people’s stereotype of medical staff,enhanced mutual understanding and understanding between the two sides,and made people’s attitude towards medical staff also changed positively.It also encourages people to cooperate more actively in the actual actions of epidemic prevention and control,promotes the spread of health knowledge,and promotes the construction of a good and harmonious doctor-patient relationship.
