| In the background of the rapid development of cultural programmes on television, experience,as one of the elements, has been widely applied. The hosts of the programmes are required to interpret traditional culture from multiple perspectives, using experiential communication. In such programmes, the hosts need to convey their personal experiences to the audience, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural connotations to be conveyed in the programme. Therefore,it is worthwhile to study how the hosts can do better in the experience aspect of the programme. At present, there are only a few studies on cultural programmes on television from the perspective of the presenter’s experience, and in particular, few studies have been conducted in conjunction with body communication theory. In this paper, the author’s graduation work Searching for Culture was used as a case study, the three major ways of realising body communication were adopted as a framework, and psychology and sociology were combined to study the ways of realising the experiential communication of TV cultural programme hosts, starting from the inner and outer aspects of experiential communication of hosts respectively. The paper is comprised of five parts. In the first part, the introduction, the background and significance of the study, the content and methodology, the current situation and innovations, and an overview of the graduation work Searching for Culture were presented. In the second part,an overview of cultural programmes on television was presented and experiential communication was developed. In the third part, the internal realisation of experiential communication by TV culture hosts was analyzed from a sociological and psychological perspective.Furthermore,in the fourth section, the external realization of experiential communication by TV culture hosts was investigated from the perspective of physical communication. The current problems and ways to improve the experiential communication of hosts were discussed in the fifth part.It is hoped that the above research can provide some reference for the theoretical research and creative practice related to the experiential communication of television cultural programme hosts. |
