Research On The Improvement Of Municipal Museums’ Displays From The Perspective Of The Top Ten Exhibition Boutiqu Selection

The National Museum’s "Top Ten Exhibition Boutiqu" has been held since 1997 and has now been running for 19 consecutive sessio ns.This activity has an important significance for further developme nt of museum exhibitions,as it not only measures the social benefits of exhibitions but also provides a template or example for museum.The case studies of winning exhibitions have important guiding sign ificance and reference value for improving exhibitions in cities and participating in the "Top Ten Exhibition Boutique" selection.In the past,academic research in this area has mainly focused on analyzing the activities themselves or on examining one winning exhibitions e very year.However,research on museums in cities in the perspectiv e of the Top Ten Exhibitions Boutique has been relatively sparse.This article combines data analysis,field research,questionnair e surveys,and comparative studies to evaluate the top ten exhibits fr om 1 to 19 sessions.Based on the data analysis of museums in cities and counties,the development of the top ten exhibits is divided int o six stages according to the selection criteria.At the same time,the article discovers regional,type,and city-level differences in the de velopment of museums.On this basis,the article combines field rese arch on Nanyang Museum and audience survey questionnaires to sele ct some exhibits from cities and counties that have won prizes.The selected exhibits are compared with those that have been rejected,a nd the main characteristics and main problems of winning exhibits a re discovered.Based on this,the article discusses some principles a nd directions that should be noted when promoting exhibitions and p articipating in selection.It provides suggestions for improvement in exhibitions,other aspects,and participation in selection to provide theoretical reference for improving exhibitions.
