The development of Internet technology has led to a change in the way people interact with each other,with interesting groups experiencing a shift from geographical ties to spatial attachments,and the network stratification has become a new phenomenon that has received much attention in recent years.Analysis of its members reveals that most of them have a strong sense of belonging and a certain social function,which makes for a special relationship pattern between users-the "circle" structure.With a large number of interest tags and interesting circles,almost every user can find a suitable place for their emotions to reside on Bilibili,forming a high level of emotional and identity.However,in recent years,due to the rapid expansion of the commercialisation of Bilibili,the image of a niche secondary culture community in the past has gradually been replaced by a diversified and comprehensive video platform.The influx of new users has provided a broader space for communication.At the same time,the difficulties and crises in the propagation of Bilibili in the circle also followed.Through the communication analysis of the virtual circle community of Bilibili,this paper analyzes the internal structural characteristics of the interest groups in the virtual community of Bilibili by using the method of participant observation and in-depth interview,and then explores the multiple reasons that contribute to the formation of different circles.And using the content analysis method,the Bilibili beauty video community is selected as a representative for the empirical analysis.Data were obtained through a combination of Octopus collector and manual screening,and the extracted samples were analysed for data.To summarise the factors influencing its communication effect,as well as the correlation between different circle linkages and communication effect,and to summarise the inspiration and problems brought by Bilibili’s circle communication.At present,there are problems with the narrowing of the circle communication target,the niche of communication expression,the closed alienation of circle members,the cultural compartmentalisation within the circle and the dissipation of the characteristic culture of Bilibili.It also examines the communication activities of individual members within the same virtual community,and places the online community of interest in the context of relationships,exploring the hidden patterns of social relations behind them.In the end,the discourse and communication strategies used in circle communication are analysed in relation to the unique interaction format of Bilibili.It is hoped that this will bring some thought and inspiration to how Bilibili can further expand its audience and build a better interactive environment and relationship.
